We liked this hotel we were pleasantly surprised some people commenting on the decor and style needing updating but this is the look they are going for and modern styles would not look right in this hotel.
Our room was clean and comfortable which is the most important thing to me.
We had lunch, dinner and breakfast all meals were of a high standard and not too pricey our room was number 11 which was a good size with lots of seating and a much larger tv than most hotels.
Great amount of wardrobe space and the wifi was fast too.
We have a function here in Nov and would not hesitate to book a room for that night too.
The car park isn't huge but there are spaces on the track to the left of the car park and spaces on the roadside.
They are also a dog friendly hotel

We have just come back from two nights at this 'quaint' hotel. The room was clean, light and airy. Bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels and everything you needed in the room. The breakfast was fantastic, served by Raymond who was very chatty and friendly and a font of all local knowledge. We will be back!!

Lunch for four. Our friends live close by and recommended the Inglenook. The weather was a cool 29c so we decided to sit outside. We managed to keep out of the sun moving to one side of a very nice sized round table. Service was slow and we sat for sometime before drinks could be ordered. They took awhile to arrive. Our host had to go inside and chase them up. The menu is excellent with a very wide choice. Scampi was excellent as was the fish and chips. Delivery of all four meals was slow. Very tasty and hot when everything arrived. For a top up of drinks our host had to once again go inside to get the order. The setting is lovely and the food very good..We were let down by the service. Pity a smile would have helped. Recommended for a good lunch. Pyms drinks were very well presented and delicious .
We were only there for lunch so really can’t comm on the hote slde.

We have frequented The Inglenook on numerous occasions in the last 3 months and have found every visit has been exceptional. The staff are very professional and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and really fuss our dog too! The restaurant menu is extensive and the food is absolutely delicious. Real quality, presented beautifully and very accommodating for all dietary requirements.
The garden is lovely and very pretty, and plenty of space to dine outside.
The drinks/bar menu is great, especially the variety of gin and wine!
We have stayed in the hotel also, very clean and comfortable rooms and the breakfast is fabulous!
Highly recommend a visit here, an absolute must if you are in the area and worth the journey if you’re not.

What a fantastic hotel,my family and I stayed for 4 nights for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food in the restaurant and bar was amazing. For such a busy period with the festival of speed and the World Cup on at the same time the bar restaurant and I think it was called the function room were very very busy, but this didn’t have any effect on our food or drink, we were served quickly and with a smile and a bit of banter when ordering drinks and the waiting staff were equally as polite and happy even though they were on the go all night long. The hotel has a warm welcome family feel. We have booked again ready for next year. Thankyou to the Inglenook hotel and all of your staff.
