I've been to this place tons of times - and it's a great restaurant.

Good times, good food and great choice. Highly reccommended by Julian Foster and all the Fosters!

Never had a bad meal here, the choice is large, the quality excellent and the portions more than ample. We usually share a main course. Swift, friendly and efficient service. Booking essential at weekends. Popular for patties,,which is great when they are seated upstairs, if they are downstairs, it can be a bit noisy, so beware if you are looking for a cosy romantic hideaway for two! Mr Ali is a gem

We went to the Shipston Bengal (can the spelling above be corrected?) on the advice of my sister in law who had visited earlier in the year. Taking your own drink certainly brings down the cost and the food quality was excellent. We went on a wet Sunday evening and there were only 4 of us in the restaurant so can't really comment on the atmosphere! The service was friendly and not too quick given the lack of work for the staff to do.

Ate here based on trip adviser recommendations. The portions were large and extremely tasty. Loved being able to take your own drink so the bill was very reasonable. As staying at The George took the tip on trip adviser to buy drink from the local Co-op. The restaurant was more than happy to provide a jug of tap water. The friendliness and attentivenesss of the staff ensuring all was fine was second to none. The guests dining at the two tables along from us were both from The George also. The restaurant was busy and had a great atmosphere.

Staff are friendly and polite. Servie is one the best i've experienced being efficient but without rushing. The food is good and very well priced. Only a small restaurant however but the atmosphere was comfortable. Portion sizes are bigger than most indian restaurants, we would probably share if we go again. The restaurant has no alcohol licence but allow you take your own. Great range of soft drinks are available. Would certainly return if in the area.
