Booked in advance as we had a function in Rugby on a fixed date so got a great deal on the room rate. Easy to find and very quick check in. Very large car park with plenty of spaces. Compared to the room we had recently in a 4 star Best Western in Germany, this room was a revelation. Although basic it was large; clean and fine for a quick stay. The bed was comfortable with decent pillows. The only slight downside was that the room was very hot and with the window open some road noise was noticeable.

The room was of the usual standard I have come to expect from Premier Inn, clean and fuctional.
The only redeaming feature of the TV was its value as an antique - a poor quality portable TV with curved screen which must have been all the rage 20 years ago.

The biggest problem however was with the noise - not from within the hotel itself but from the very noisy air conditioning units from the building opposite. I would advise you to make sure you get a room at the front of the building overlooking the car park if you want a good night's sleep.

If you want a decent choice of food the don't opt for the 'meal deal' there are other offers available that offer a much better choice and are almost as cheap

Room Tip: I would advise you to make sure you get a room at the front of the building overlooking the car park...

We stopped here for the first time half way through a long trip to the West Country. The experience started off very well with a cheerful welcome, and we enjoyed outstanding service from at least two members of staff. Our toddler loved the indoor play area and, although officially the food is not served until 12noon, we were presented with our order early on request for a hungry daughter.

One week later, we stopped here again on the return trip and the service was just as good. We'll definitely be back next time.

The best place I have been in a long time! Good size of the family room with a double bed two single beds and a very new cot. And the kids could still run around in the room. Very clean and a good size bathroom. Fantastic shower and a very generous and help-yourself breakfast with every type of food. Just a great experience!

Difficult to find fault with this hotel, its clean and modern, the staff were friendly and chatty, super value brewers fayre next door, and unlike the newbold one down the road, you dont have to fumble around in the dark to slot your key card into a reader to turn the lights on!

If these are budget hotels then what are the other ones charging fortunes for!!!?
Friendly staff, very clean and modern rooms.
Tea/coffee facilities.
TV. Wifi.
Comfy beds.
Very quiet.
Good food. Only gripe would be £8.25 for a breakfast. I know it's all you can eat, but not everyone wants to have loads of fry up to get their moneys worth.
What else do you need.
Would highly recommend.

The usual Premier Inn high standard & keen pricing. Very good pub with excellent food adjacent. We walked to the nearby Frankie & Bennies for cocktails before evening meal.

Room Tip: Dont get a room that backs onto the shops if you sleep with the window open, they start work early!
