“The best place to stay in central Rugby”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

We regularly come up to visit family in Rugby and by far this is the best place to stay. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with lovely touches such as fresh milk, bottles of water and upmarket toiletries. There is a large free car park and an exceptional continental breakfast. The owners and staff make you feel welcome throughout your stay. A must visit place if you plan to stay in the area.

Echoing the opinions of all the other reviewers. Helen is a peach, and her restaurant recommendations essential! My only tiny quibble was the inability to get more heating from the radiators during the day, but I'm a bit peculiar that way.

Room Tip: There aren't many, so it hardly matters; if possible get one on a lower floor, cos the stairs ar...

Reading the other reviews, it's very hard to add anything new. But I'll try.
I will definitely stay again because Number 16 is a really high standard boutique B&B - from the friendly and attentive welcome from staff to the really impressive finish of the shower area and separate toilet, and very comfortable bed, it's impossible to rate it other than very highly.
The room was impeccably clean, as was the whole house. The provision of a fridge is a quite rare and very much appreciated addition. Little bowls of sweets are a nice touch.
I was curious about how good the continental breakfast would be, but the fine selection of cheeses, cold meats, and a lovely fresh fruit salad were highlights.
Free wi-fi, good parking facilities and a very central location are real plus points. The owner is most particular about keeping in touch with you and ensuring everything is to your satisfaction. It most certainly was !

Have just spent Saturday and Sunday night at Number 16, the whole experience was first class from initial phone conversation with the proprietor Helen to her warm and friendly welcome.
We stayed in the William Webb Ellis room at the front of the building overlooking the road, traffic noise was not an issue due to excellent double glazing, modern decor tastefully done and a really good walk in shower, a mini fridge stocked with bottled water and fresh milk, a really nice touch.
Continental Breakfast great with cereals, fresh fruit, hams, cheeses Pastries etc.
Its location is also spot on
I would recommend this B&B to anybody visiting Rugby

We booked the meeting room at number 16 so that we could meet at a half way point in Rugby. We received a great welcome and the service was very pleasantly informal and professional all at the same time. We had the meeting room booked for half a day - starting with a continental breakfast which included a superb range of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt and hams, cheeses and pastries. All very well presented. The meeting room holds 6 people very comfortably (there were only 2 of us) - and has a flip chart stand and easel and supplies of water etc. Free wifi connection is provided and worked very well. We were very well looked after and yet left to get on with our work which was appreciated. The downstairs space is generally very bright and modern and extremely clean and tidy. There is also ample parking at the rear of the property. The location is very central to Rugby town and so easy to walk from there via an underpass into the shopping centre.
Overall, an excellent and enjoyable experience. Will happily return if the opportunity arises.

Number sixteen in Rugby is the best B&B I have stayed at. The room was large while at the same time cosy. The whole building is spotless. Breakfast was far better than I was receiving at a hotel in London. The welcome is warm and they will go out of their way to advise their guests regarding local attractions and facilities.
I have no hesitation recommending them to travellers to the area and it will be my number one choice for accommodation in Rugby in the future.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back away from the road are much quieter
