despite reading other reviews before going we were staggered by how good No 16 was. Fantastic room, bathroom and facilities. A warm welcome, fresh breakfast and a great location with that most valuable essential...... city centre parking spaces. Almost worth inventing a reason to go to Rugby just to stay here.
We stayed at the weekend to go to a friends birthday party but as a frequent business traveller i wouldnt hesitate to use the hotel during the week.
Incredible value whether paying personally or on an expense account.

Simply outstanding, from the welcome we initially received from Helen to the immaculate room we stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. The little touches made all the difference, ie proper milk in the fridge for coffee and tea, decent biscuits and even a little bowl of toffees and mints. We have children at school in Rugby and having stayed in various Hotels, etc wouldn't now consider staying anywhere else but No 16 in future.
It is indeed a little gem!

Room Tip: You can go on the website and look at each room before making your choice. We were on the top floor...

Great Old House sympathetically brought up to high modern standards.
A warm welcome and enjoyable stay finishing on a high note with a lovely continental breakfast.
If we ever go back to Rugby we will be sure to give Helen a call.

Well, what a fab hostelry. Rooms are absolutely lovely - plenty of space, tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are quite out of the ordinary - more what you would expect to find in a high class spa than a B&B. The facilities are exemplary (free Wifi an absolute lifesaver!), breakfast beautiful and really cannot fault anything. Helen was incredibly welcoming and extremely helpful with everything from directions, arrival time, parking and advice on where to eat to organising a taxi in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble and I can recommend the morning coffee! Would stay here again in a heartbeat - cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed here at the end of January when we were going to a 40th birthday party in the town centre. I can't remember the last time I stayed at a place where the owners go to so much trouble to help out - right from organsing a time to meet us, to directions, through to information on the town and facilities. It was a real pleasure to stay at Number 16 and to meet the owner Helen. Very well decorated, clean, and quiet. And what a perfect location for the town and surrounds. Brilliant, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area.

A wonderful place to stay in Rugby. Everything has been thought of. Beautiful decor, clean, a really comfortable bed and a great breakfast. Helen was very accommodating with our arrival time and really made us feel at home. I've stayed in Rugby many times and this will be the only place I will stay in the future.

A difficult review to write without sounding like an advert for the hotel. We stayed here recently and found the hotel to be simply outstanding. The owners have clearly spent alot of money on the building renovation and also the furnishings and fittings to create a truly boutique hotel. There are only 4 double rooms which are spacious and clean and the bathroom met with my wife's high expectations in terms of quality and cleanliness - which, believe me, is quite a compliment. We were there on a school visit with our son and would have preferred an extra pull-out bed as all rooms are doubles but, a small glitch, we will definately be back when we are next in the area.
