I have stayed here a few times and was put off by having a small room. We decided to stay again and ended up with a massive room, so all rooms must not be standard size; as is the way at most Premier Inns.

Pub next door was lovely and we used the snooker room - although this was at our own risk as the roof has a small whole in it. (been there around a year). Please sort the snooker room and table out; id be happy to pay alot more to use it :-)

Room Tip: 54 - family room and is very big :-)

We travelled as a party of six as we had to go to a fund raising event and decided to travel on Sat the 20th of Oct ready for the event which was taking place on the Sun 21st of Oct. We arrived mid afternoon to a really friendly bunch of reception staff who made us so welcome from the time we open the entrance door we were given our keys as we had booked 3 rooms and were in the rooms within 5 minutes after receiving answers to all the questions we had about evening meals in the adjoining Beefeater. We had to walk past the reception area every time we went to the Beefeater and were asked every time if everything was ok with our acommodation. The staff could not have been more caring such a nice friendly place to stay the rooms were spotless. The Staff are a credit to Premier inn.

We had an evening meal the day we arrived and could not fault the quality of the food or the way it was cooked the service was first class, from the manager welcoming us and showing us to our table to our lovely waitress i think she was called Jemma who is a true proffesional.

We had breakfast on both Sat and again on the Mon before we left a couldnt fault it one bit the only little thing we commented on was the hot water needs to be a little hotter for making tea.our breakfast waitress was working non stop to make sure everyone had everything they had ordered ant wanted.

Stayed for one night - last week (October 2012) received superb service when checking in - thank you for that.

Arrived earlier than anticipated so the rooms were not ready - this was far from a problem, dropped off my bag and headed to the bar. Much needed after a three hour drive alone!
Standard Beefeater - overpriced drinks & food (my own opinion). But a cracking early dinner & breakfast was had by all.

The rooms are smaller than a hotel but we were there to shower, get ready and crash after partying so that wasn't an issue-we only stayed for one night.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Particularly impressed with the option of firm/soft pillows. Nice touch.
The bathroom was immaculate with a decent shower, towels and shower gel/hand wash provided.

Would definitely stay here again and recommend the saver option!

Thumbs up Premier inn!

A really nice hotel, family rooms really good size and added bonus of an outside play area for the kids. Have stayed in premier inns before and can honestly say are always very friendly and helpful. A pleasure to recommend.

This was our 5 or 6th stay at this Premier Inn and you can't fault it for a overnight or a couple of nights stay (wouldn't want to stay any longer to be honest). Our room this time was clean had a comfy bed and a updated flat screen T.V which has a volume limit so you can't blast your neighbours out with your choice of television entertainment.

We were meeting up with friends so ate in the Beefeater attached to the hotel on both nights of our stay however we found our second day (when only the 2 of us) both the breakfast & evening meals were much better than when they were catering for 12 of us.

The room (38) this time was very small but very quiet, there are larger ones (as we've had them before) but this wasn't problem for us. The bathroom was fine though with nice clean white towels with both soap and shower gel provided you can also purchase a toothbrush & paste from a machine if forgotten. However the tap to turn on the shower was so stiff I couldn't move it, I had to get my partner to turn it on for me and even he had trouble turning if off once used, I did report to reception on checkout and they promised to sort before next guests arrived.

But what makes this Premier Inn is its staff they are all really friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble, this runs throughout the hotel, bar & restaurant even the maintenance man said good morning and wished us a nice day.

I have given them a 5* excellent rating not because there aren't things wrong and if I was picky I could highlight some I'm sure, but for what you pay this Premier Inn and its staff go out of their way to please and I have had far worst problems and service at 5* hotels & paid a fortune, so well done & keep up the good work.

Room Tip: All disabled rooms are ground floor as no lift, so limited.

An improvement on most Travelodges we have used. Bed comfortable and room and en-suite adequate but not over large. Staff friendly and efficient.Would stay again but maybe find somewhere else to eat. Although the on site Beefeater was well run we thought the menu choices were limited and the Conitinental breakfast was poor. The full English however surpassed expectation.

Easy to find, and plenty of parking. The receptionist was pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were clean, with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom spotless, and hot, powerful shower. Only problem is the extractor fan. Noisy, and was kept awake by next doors half the night. We ate in the adjoining restaurant, and had the meal deal, which was reasonably priced and very nice. The restaurant manager was so good at his job, and very professional. The waitresses were attentive, and nothing too much trouble. However, the 2nd night wasn't so good. Its maybe not so good to take cutlery off a table that customers didn't use, and put them in a drawer, then relay the tables with them later. Its good practice to wash it Also the cleaning staff didn't close my room door after cleaning, so i assume it was open most of the day! Slightly disconcerting. But the receptionist was very good about it. I'd probably stay there again if we were that way again.
