I cannot comment on the hotel facilities etc as ended up not going. We had the £79 Groupon deal which included a spa treatment each and was supposed to be a treat for myself and my daughter. Reading previous reviews did alarm me but decided to give it a fair shot.
However, when I tried to book the actual spa treatments 8 days before our visit ,I was told they had no slots and were booked "months in advance". I also spoke to reception who told me that we would have to eat in the Carvery on this deal and there may well not be any veggie options- we are both veggie.
On the basis that the voucher claims "choice of restaurants" and that we couldn't get the treatments ( so misrepresentation), I requested a refund from Groupon. After initially offering me a credit voucher, they quickly agreed and I received a full refund.
I am posting this to advise others to book their treatments well in advance and to check out eating options if they have any dietary requirements.More
