Quality is written all over this restaurant in terms of the food, service and the value for money. I was very pleased with the speed of the service as with other restaurants that I have been to, the speed of the service has an effect on the quality of food whereby with a fast service the food may have been cold or uncooked, however, the food was delicately balanced across the whole main course which is a credit to the members of staff that work their. Overall it is a must eat place and I will certainly be recommending this restaurant to all of my friends!

Really great quality food every time and friendly efficient service. We used to live in Henley and The Arden Tandoori was a regular for take aways and eating in. Excellent in every way. Now that we have moved 25 miles away, we still make a special trip to pick up a take away from here, because nowhere is comparable (and we've tried a lot of places!). I particularly recommend Chicken Jaflong and Bengal Rice. There is a review on here that says that the food is over priced; well, the prices are a little more expensive than some places, but it's worth that bit extra. I highly recommend! Thank you Arden Tandoori!

Having read a review for the Arden Tandoori in a food magazine, we decided to give it a try for ourselves.

We ordered tikka masala baltis which in many establishments is overpoweringly sweet and full of nuts or cream, but the Arden's were really well balanced. A thick sauce that had evidently been carefully spiced resulting in a slightly hot and aromatic sauce served in the traditional balti pans. On a minor note it was pleasing to see that the balti pans were pristine with none of the pan coating peeled off as you can see sometimes. The rice was good and the nan's excellent, rich with garlic flavour.

Service was very friendly with our waiter Rafique talking us through options, having a knowledge of food allergens and asking how we liked our baltis spiced. Perfect for children who would like their balti mildly spiced. My son very much enjoyed his and wasn't complaining it was too sweet either. As other reviewers have stated, the service is courteous but unobtrusive. The restaurant also started to fill up quite quickly, which on a midweek evening says a lot about the quality.

We are looking forward to going back and sampling other dishes. Would highly recommend paying Arden Tandoori a visit.

I've never been big on indian cuisine but I must say it was a very pleasant experience. First of the food was truly amazing. Admittedly I cannot recall the exact names apart from the masala (probably the best around) however we decided to let the house pick for us and it was completely worth it. On top of that expect friendly quality service. Unless you want to see them you won't. You can mind your conversation and the food just pops-up on the table. Of course one cannot expect them to be experts on everything on the menu however expect kind friendly people that will tell you straight off the bat if something is actually really good or not. In other words no BS. On top of that the decor is really stylish whilst maintaining that rustic feel and all at some of the lowest prices i've personally seen for this type of establishment.
