St Leonard's Church, Charlecote
Reviewed June 3, 2014

Adjacent to Charlecote Park, and a good example of a Victorian church in a prosperous area. Of particular interest are the tombs, in an older part of the church, which are archetypal praying knights on top of the tombs. These predate the church structure itself and look to date from the 1600s. It is lovely to see a church open to visitors such as this.

A small Church which is obviously well supported, and well kept. It was a pleasure to visit to see the tombs of various dead occupants of Charlecote Hall.

A fantastic old church directly opposite the Charlecote Pheasant hotel. The door was open to walk around and admire the beauty of it.

This is a very well maintained church and adds greatly to the history of the Lucy family of Charlecote. Do call in.
