My wife and I had the most fantastic night out at the Nailcote Hall Motown night on the 21st December 2012. We booked the night on a bit of a whim and were treated to a 5 course meal which was excellent from start to finish. The service was very professional, efficient and most importantly of all incredibly friendly.
There were 2 bands on who were absolutely fantastic. The variety and entertainment they both offered were well in excess of what we were expecting and made the whole night an absolute pleasure to be part of.
It really put us in the mood for Christmas and we were both smiling for days afterwards.
if you ever get the opportunity to visit Nailcote Hall and take in one of their shows you will not be disappointed.
The staff of Nailcote Hall should be commended on their efforts on such a great evening, hats off to all of you.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding which was superb. The hotel website appears to be very high end, it is not. Check in was completely uninformed, basically here are your key cards, see you. Room was nice at first glance, at second glance very average and not worth the high end advertised prices. Half a loo roll, dusty window sill, un ironed bedding, Luke warm shower, which does not drain away so leaves you standing in ankle deep water, and some of the poorest grouting I have ever seen. Pet hate of mine, UHT milk portions!!!! Went to use pool at 3.15 to be told it closes at four, amazing!! Breakfast was no better, warm buffet, had to ask for a hot drink and never received our toast. Why did we not say anything......on check out we were not even asked if everything was ok. Won't go back. Oh, and one bar tender for a wedding, really??

I stayed here on a one nigh business trip to the area, a bit difficult to find at 21:00 in December and the satnav was fairly accurate and took me to around 200yds of the entrance. Arrived fairly late in the evening, but was welcomed warmly and advised that the bar food was still available. Room was very clean, well apportioned and gave view to the mature gardens. Hotel was quiet, but from the location of the hotel and function suites, it looks a good venue for the large gatherings.
Room was warm, clean and comfortable and the age of the building comes with a character that no Premier Inn can match. I'd certainly like to stop over here again, but to make more of the restaurant and facilities. Overall enjoyable stay, albeit short lived.

Stayed for a Christmas party night, the hotel was lovely the staff were great and very welcoming, I agree with one of the other reviewers that said the bar area was very small. Having stayed here before we knew this and expected it to be busy. We stayed in room 15 and it was large and comfortable, I would have given 5 stars but for the fact that the pillows were as flat as pancakes and we even asked for extra and they were no better. Also the party night menu was very limited and when I asked for an alternative for my Husband was told they couldn't do it??? Made use of the spa and was made very welcome by staff working there.

Stayed here the night before a meeting near Birmingham NEC (only 8 miles away).

The hotel is in a lovely setting.

Really good room @ a reasonable price of £80 including breakfast.

Restaurant very highly recommended & service really good.

If you could have a criticism it would be the very small bar area.

We would like to start by saying, outstanding staff, food, room etc. We travelled from wales for a family get together birthday 90th bash, my husband is in a wheelchair and we where very much looked after, the room was excellent but was not a wet room but it was only one night. The restaurant staff where fab and the spanish waiter what a joy, my dad was so happy talking to him in spanish. The night porter Rob very helpful with my nan whos birthday it was and in the morning breakfast staff and reception very plesant. The whole experience of the hotel is top notch can not be faulted, recommend to all its 'BRILL'.
