We returned for our christmas meal with friends following an excellent meal earlier in the year. Once again we were absolutely delighted with our meal. It was booked for the christmas meal though due to customer response they actually served meals from the a la carte menu.

The meal was delicious & could not be faulted, service lovely as always & even obtained details about Paul's other business in Yorkshire which he runs with his wife Pam. We will certainly be visiting them at their restaurant & B & B soon!

See you again in the not too distant future. Bev

It might cost a bit more than other places but it is worth every penny. Never eaten Kangaroo but with the stawberry Mmm. The shark was not bad either or try the wild boar.

Popped in on the off chance as we had gone out for a bike ride and felt a little peckish. They managed to squeeze us in for Sunday Lunch - and I mean squeeze! :-)

The place is tiny and really quaint, and also VERY popular. You can see why. Very friendly and attentive staff, fantastic atmosphere and the food we had was absolutely beautiful.

We simply could not recommend it highly enough. If you're planning on going I'd say it's best to book in advance. We were lucky to get in without a booking.

We attended one of their wine tasting meals with friends and found the food, drink and service all excellent.

Christmas Eve.....service was a bit slow. Food was competent but not exceptional. Portions were well sized, both mains and accompanying vegetables. The meat on both mains (rabbit and mixed grill) was a little dry. No espresso coffee! Relatively expensive considering....
