A long and beautiful walk round the lake. Packed with families and dog lovers. Parking at a premium especially on Sundays and expensive.

This area is an amazing collection of walks around the lake which is attended by walkers, joggers, cyclists, and a myriad of dog lovers, all walking their dogs in the area. Recommended.

Came here for a picnic with friends. Beautiful place with stunning views. Good facilities with clean toilets and a cafe with prices you would expect. Only downside to this place is the extortionate £12 parking fee. I know this helps towards the upkeep of this beautiful place which I fully understand but I think this is really expensive when other lovely places charge much less. I think more people would visit if parking was cheaper but I suppose £12 for a family day out is pretty cheap if you look at it that way. Must be honest it's put me off.

Spent a wonderful morning here. The scenery and the peace and beauty makes it a real haven. It's like a wonderful stroll through a wonderful world full of families, lovers, children, joggers, cyclists and wildlife and nature all just living in perfect harmony. Great place for a picnic and to let the kids run free.

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday as the weather was so good. We walked around the lake, which is a good couple of miles or so, and ate at the café near the car park. The grounds are well-maintained and surprisingly litter-free considering the almost total absence of rubbish bins anywhere as you go around. The café was expensive (£18 for 2x paninis, drinks and 1x bag of crisps) and has a fairly limited menu, unless you like pasta. It's a shame that the overall visiting experience was ruined by the parking charges; £12 for just over 3hrs is, quite frankly, daylight robbery.
To summarise, I wouldn't recommend anyone visits Virginia Water unless they bring a bag of gold with them.
