Stayed here 1 night for overnight stay.hotel was fine, paid £73 for a double room which was clean n tidy but probably in need of redecorating soon.dining room looks brand new and the breakfast i have no complaints with at all.everything seemed available and the owner even opened half an hour early so we could get an early start.they do take credit card as thats how we paid.overall no complaints and would use agan.

If you are looking for a decent hotel in Sutton or somewhere nearby, this is a great place for you. Maybe, somebody would say it is not a good value for money, but comparing to other hotel prices in this area, this hotel is the cheapest one. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they even let my friend stay in my room for a few hours. Location is great for the public transport. My room was quite small but clean. Free wireless is available! It's true that TV is from 19th century, but I almost never watch TV, so I didn't mind. I didn't like the old-fashioned shower(see the picture) and the breakfast is rather poor. Another negative thing is that they don't accept credit cards, so I had to bring a lot cash. Besides that, I don't have nothing to complain about.

I booked a room three weeks ahead of my trip. First weird thing, they write me an email asking to carry cash because they don't accept credit cards. What? Even in the most awful hotels in developing countries they accept credit cards.

When I landed and phoned them to tell them I was arriving late, and what do they tell me? That the day before they had sent me an email canceling my reservation because one of their guest is extending his stay. No apologizes, no alternatives, nothing. Screw you. They told me they would call me back and I'm still waiting for their call.

They are a bunch of scammers.

Room Tip: Don't do it. Booking has no value for them.

Key to be collected from corner shop. Inedible breakfast. Got the feeling we were just a number!

Arrived Sunday and was greeted by a note saying to go to the shop up the road for the key. Not a good start.
Rooms aren't terrible but cramped and very old fashioned. The duvet does not even cover the bed.
The bathroom has large areas of mould on the ceiling and the window which if openable might prevent this has been glued in place and is filthy
The shower head is set at about four feet off the ground and is not ajustable.
The breakfast is exceptionally bad and exceptionally small; one "sausage", one bacon which doesn't touch the pan even if you ask for it well done, one egg which could be used as leather replacement it's that tough and as the title mentions you can count the amount of beans on the plate.
The owner seems to be more interested in your money than service, trying to explain that because we were working nights, that when we went to work on the last night (at 7pm) the room would be empty for him to rent out despite us wanting to travel back after work to get a few hours sleep before travelling home. He even tried to charge us an extra night for this.
Lastly, the staff, whilst very keen and friendly do not have a full grasp of the English language making complaining difficult.

I strongly recommend that you find somewhere else to stay. ESPECIALLY at £75 a room! Thank god my company paid for this!

The Smallest breakfast ever. 1/4 of a fried tomato.1 fried egg. spoonful of baked beans, and one uncooked inedible hash brown.
Smallest boxy room ever. DIY type wiring and plumbing. Clean bathroom.
Although it was mainly nice and clean, the carpet could do with cleaning or changing, and the walls need to be cleaned of black smudges.
Very friendly family.
Not worth the money.
Never again.
