“Fantastic service, food, ambience - Italian as it should be!”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

A last moment decision, which was a very good one! Fussy friends, wine and food snobs, wanted to try our local fave last night! As usual the managers created a good table, with their easy charm and good humour. I had specials...scallops in chilli and sundries tomato sauce (document) followed by lamb, beautifully cooked. The veg were good but the sister potatoes were outstanding, buttery and crunchy. Pudding was pineapple, blood orange and a grand Marnier shot!

It was packed, so word is out. Make a reservation to avoid being turned away, we watched a number of people being turned away, with great charm, obviously.

“Excellent hearty Italian food”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Great restaurant in Hampton Wick. The service was a little slow but it didn't matter as the waiter was very friendly and good humoured. The food is at the hearty end of Italian cuisine with the main course meat dishes coming with standard vegetables and roast potatoes. The meat (veal) and the fish were excellent. The best however, are the starters which are very varied and different.

“Wonderful family owned italian - great service & food”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

took the family last night - what a warm welcome, great service and wonderful food
Portions on the a ll carte menu are enormous
Offered a really good value set menu although we all were too tempted by the a la carte menu
Great wine selection - and good value offerings as well as the more top end wines
Between the 6 of us we triad the avodcado & crab, aubergine pasta and penne for starters; then fillet steak, grilled prawns, chicken, veal and pasta mains - All were excellent - The prawns were more like small lobsters & excellent
will definitely visit again

“Amy's birthday”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

This just goes to show TripAdvisor works! A last minute decision to find a restaurant for a birthday dinner had Amy looking on TripAdvisor. She found this small Italian restaurant in Hampton Wick (just over Kingston bridge) which we all agreed is really excellent and very reasonable. Every course was both generous and absolutely delicious and I am reminded that the service was very good as well. We will certainly return. Well worth a try friends.
