Amazing food and excellent service. Particularly recommend the seasonal specials which was a North Indian goat curry from Rajasthan. Great quality curry, flavoursome and not too greasy. Focus on quality rather than quantity which makes a big difference. We will definitely be visiting again!

We visited Roz-Ana after watching Sunderland beat AFC Wimbledon. Our nerves needed soothing, and this was just the place to restore ourselves.

The restaurant is modern but cosy. The website is excellent, far above the usual standard for neighbourhood venues. The menu is contemporary Indian with Rajasthan specials during August. A new theme is put in place with the new month. We like that idea because it keeps the menu interesting, giving diners a reason to come back every month.

Happy Hour for cocktails until 7pm meant that we could each enjoy a Bramble for the price of one. Plain poppadoms (no spicy, which we missed) were good and the three pickles interesting. The potato cutlets, Aloo Tikki Chaat, were exceptionally good with a really umami tamarind and yoghurt sauce. Chicken Sixty Nine was also very good, and not as naughty as it sounds!

I had the Rajasthan special of Chicken Rajwada Murg which was new to me and very, very good. The chicken is cooked in spicy cashew paste, and is rich and delicious. Mr Monkeyhumble enjoyed his Karahi Chicken and my landgrab from his dish confirmed his judgement.

As sides we had one lime rice and one Missi Roti, both good. Portions are generous. Mr Monkeyhumble said that the Gulab Jamun was like a most succulent sponge pudding. I watched the diet and had a fresh mint tea - much better for the digestion.

The bill came to £88 with a couple of large glasses of wine and a small Cobra, including service. On the latter, it was very, very speedy. Perhaps a bit too speedy in terms of how quickly the dishes came to the table. We had trains to catch so didn’t mind, however it might be worth checking with customers in advance whether they want a break between courses.

We will definitely return next time we are in Kingston. The town is very lucky to have such a class act in the locality.

Thanks for taking the time to give such a detailed review. We appreciate your positive feedback and will certainly ensure staff do not rush customers as this is definitely not normal.

I came here with some family and friends, the staff were beyond lovely, and recommended us food - they asked about our spice tolerance and accommodated my vegetarian friends.
The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best Indian meals I’ve had
Will definitely recommend to my family and friends and will visit again!

We went to Roz ana on Saturday evening and cannot fault the food or service one bit. We were served by Marcelin who was attentive, professional and knew the menu well. We loved the 'Mumbai street food' menu and were very impressed with the standard of the cooking. We will be coming back soon!

Came here whilst staying in the area for the weekend, I saw all of the reviews and just had to come and try it! Me and my boyfriend just love a good Indian meal, it was his birthday and we received a free bottle of wine! What a lovely touch! All the staff who we interacted with were so happy and lovely, the food was so tasty and there was lots of options! It’s a shame we don’t live in the area because we would definitely be back! Keep doing what you’re doing roz ana:)
