Went back for their Sunday lunch last weekend, arrived just after 1.20 and found a nice seat in the main dining room, full of elderly people all smartly dressed and I was in jeans and a polo top so a bit of a stuffy atmosphere and jolly quiet, any way I had roast chicken and Mrs roast pork, very quick service and the girl who served us was absolutely brilliant and extremely confident and personal, food wise my chicken was dry but there was extra gravy which countered that, the Mrs was a bit upset that there was no crackling and she did ask for some and was told very nicely that the chances of crackling were very slim......no issues with that but the kitchen needs to understand roast pork without crackling is like Christmas with no Santa! and this needs to be addressed !! either that or rename the dish rolled pork without crackling, I re-iterate my point it's like having rain without sunshine, please we love coming to your establishment but you must look into this, forget the Olympics or the European Cup or the Euro Zone this must be sorted and fast ! we beg you please, we want to give you 5stars all the time.

What a surprise! for £79 for a family of four we weren't expecting more than a place to lay our heads for one night.... but the room was very clean, staff very friendly, lovely outdoor are to sit in the sunshine, food was fantastic, much more than your average pub grub, fantastic Sunday roast, a huge breakfast buffet, and any hot breakfast all included in the price...between us we managed full English, cereal, fresh fruit salad, slices of melon and pineapple, salami and cheese, and danish pastries! The bathrroms were clean, stacks of hot water, fluffy towels, nice toiletries, complimentary teas/coffee/hot chocolates and loads of biscuits! Beds were a little soft but we could live with that as everything else was spot on! Can't fault it! Will definitely stay again!

Stayed for one night in March, Arrived at around 21:30, but still managed to get some food, as per another comment I had a 'rare' beefburger but I like it like this where possible, still leaving all its flavour! Food was great, staff were friendly.

The Room itself was very pleasant, and spotless which is number one priority for me

Breakfast was difficult to get the attention of staff to serve. Both breakfast and drinks seemed very expensive

The rooms at the Princess Royal Lodge are fairly standard hotel style with not much character, but they are comfortable and everything worked fine. There was a little traffic noise through the windows, but it didn't stop us sleeping.

The breakfast was excellent, a great selection from the cold buffet plus hot options from the menu. The service was generally great (though one morning a little slow) and all staff were very friendly. The lunch time and evening pub food is also excellent and really good value for money.

The hotel building is just behind the pub which means you don't get any noise from the pub and restaurant whilst in your room. Parking is right outside the hotel building and the wifi connection was good.

It's about a 10 minute drive to Farnham even during rush hour traffic, so a great place to stay in terms of location if you don't mind driving.

All in all, a good find and a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for 1 night with my partner on a little weekend break.
Rooms are spacious and bed was very comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from traffic (unlike some other reviewers)
Location wise it is a bit out of Farnham, so, if you are walking it is a little trek into town, however, you can take a nice walk through some countryside into town which is lovely (around 30 mins walk)
There is a restuarant and bar which is very cosy. We had dinner here which was very tasty and a lovely bottle of wine. Service is good.
The breakfast was very good.
Would recommend.
