“Great for a quiet midweek lunch”
Reviewed July 4, 2014

I had lunch here with three friends. The choice of food was good and the portions generous. I had a chicken and bacon baguette which came with a lovely fresh salad. Friends had other baguettes which they enjoyed. The service was good and cheerful, the atmosphere good and we had a pleasant hour. The only downside was that on a hot day there was no shady seat in the garden.

“Skittles evening at The Six Bells”
Reviewed June 12, 2014

I organised a skittles evening for the family and a few close friends at the Six Bells, Farnham. First of all we had a meal; to make it easier on my part with the organising I choose the menu myself to have either chicken or fish with chips or jacket potato and a salad garnish. Four out of my party only wanted a small portion and the Six Bells was happy to accommodate this and for the people who have a larger appetite there was certainly a lot on their plate, this was before seconds came out…..! For pudding we choose either fruit salad or chocolate cake and it was delicious. The food was cooked to perfection and there was certainly lots of it. Everyone was very impressed. I know the Six Bells would accommodate different dishes should we have wanted this.

We were in the private room all evening and after our meal we had great fun playing skittles, going in and out the bar sampling the great ales they have on the pumps.

I would recommend this pub to anyone and especially if you can conjure up a large gathering to enjoy a great evening of fun and skittles at a great price. Thank you to Nikki and Yvonne for great time!

“Family First !!!”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

Driven past this pub daily and never ventured through the door. Was recommended by the staff at the hospital to come and try sunday lunch. (My brother is currently resident at the hospital).

Lovely Beer garden. Great Parking

The lady could not have the got the balance of attentive without being in your face more spot on.

The food was home cooked, fresh tasty and obviously cooked with care.

Beer was good, Atmosphere was relaxed and chilled. Pub clean, tidy and cared for.

Would I go back ? Oh Yes ... Cant wait to try full menu.

Our family will be back .

“Brief Encounter”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

It's very odd, I feel we must have gone to a different venue to the one described by all the other reviewers. We booked for a Saturday night but when we arrived the place was barren and empty. The lady behind the bar finally extracted herself from the conversation she was having and nodded us to a slightly sad and desolate table near the bar - even though there appeared to be a nice little area with dining tables away from the bar area. Then she disappeared completely for some little while without having even asked us if we might like a drink before she departed. The food may be as good as the other reviewers suggest, but the menu was uninspired and our greeting so dismal that we voted with our feet and left. There are plenty of really good places to eat around Farnham, but for us this just wasn't one of them.

“How pubs should be”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

We were staying nearby and decided to visit based on the previous reviews. There's a reasonably sized car park to the side of the building.

Pub was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night so we had our choice of tables. Menu is traditional pub food and was beautifully cooked, service was prompt and friendly.

Overall thoroughly recomended.
