Owner description: With so much more to offer than the high street, our ever-changing interior and lifestyle store is full of handpicked items to give your space some soul. Set within the Surrey hills between Guildford and Farnham, our 400-year-old Grade II-listed building sells a huge variety of vintage, antique and one-off buys from furniture and interior finishing touches to gifts and fashion accessories. You won’t find a more diverse mix anywhere else. Next door is our super-stylish restaurant Bears, offering a locally sourced menu from coffee and breakfast to evening meals and everything in between. Parking is free and we also run craft workshops and events throughout the year. It's the ideal place to come for a browse, a catch up with friends, or some serious shopping. We change our stock every single day, so there’s always something new to see.

Lots of unusual vintage, antique and new products. Furniture, door handles, you name it!! Clothes, accessories also. Good cafe with tasty varied menu.

Much as I hate to admit it, mum lunches are fab. This place even has pre lunch shopping. Easy to find even for map haters like me (just off the A31). After a bit of browsing (slightly 'Isawyoucoming.com) but really good cafe and fab service. Lovely.

Unlike Auntie Wainwright's emporium in Last of the Summer Wine, there's no pressure to buy. You can browse around to your heart's content.

Over the years that we have visited, I have noticed a shift from true antiques to repro and modern bijouterie.

This used to be a great place to visit and could then, justifiably, be classified as an Antiqe Centre. However, in recent years the stock has changed greatly and antiques are far harder to spot in amongst the mass of Farrow & Ball painted furniture, wicker hearts with gingham ribbon, modern jewellery, shelves of over-priced chi-chi cushions and mass-produced dust gatherers. Perhaps diversity was needed to keep the customers satisfied, but it's not as interesting a place as it once was. Shame.
