Description: At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Right across from Hampton Court railway, our Hampton Court restaurant has been designed using aspect from the River Thames, Hampton Court Palace and the hundreds of boats that zip up and down the river every day. This light, open restaurant is located on the banks of the river Thames, a short walk from the famed Hampton Court Palace and its beautiful gardens. Enjoy the views from inside the restaurant with its glass doors and windows or dine al fresco and watch the world go by. Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.

We arrived in East Molesey on Friday evening and decided to pop into Zizzi's for a meal. It was still early, so there were plenty of tables but the waitress decided to put is in a corner and then promptly forgot about us! All through the meal we had to keep asking for service. The only thing she was prompt with was the bill! The food was pleasant, but nothing out of the ordinary. Shame because the restaurant itself is in an excellent position, just on the corner of the High Street.

Had a very enjoyable lunch here. Food and service were excellent. A safe bet for a decent meal and not that badly priced when you consider its location and when other local restaurants are running a riot on tourist prices.

We were staying close by so went there twice. The first time (mon night) went well and we enjoyed it. Second time (wed night) the service was slow and appeared disorganised. Either short staffed or poorly managed, or both. Positives- clean, good food for the price, nice few of the river, clean toilets.

We got given some vouchers for zizzi at Christmas so thought we would use them as we were out and in the area. Well I wish we hadn't bothered, a waste of £30 and we had to wait so long for our main meal that we asked to have it boxed and took it home. They did acknowledge the wait and deducted the £6.95 for the kids menu. But an unfortunate poor experience for us.

This restaurant is within walking distance for me and many of my friends. We used to spend regular Friday evenings at Zizi, enjoying good, simple food - until about two years ago when it started to go horribly wrong. Since then I have found that after 8pm on a Friday evening, it is usually almost empty. My last few experiences put me off going completely. The staff and management were clearly not interested in welcoming anyone into the restaurant and if they made an appearance at the door, were stressed and unwelcoming. My friends and I will not be going back there until we are convinced that they have made big changes. This is a prime location which should have a buzzing and successful restaurant, particularly on a Friday night. The figures must speak for themselves. Pity that this sad review had to be written.
