This cafe has gone from strength to strength. During the day it serves very good coffee and snacks. There are breakfast and lunch menus every day except Sunday and Monday. Every lunch time there is an offering of pasta or pizza and a soft-drink for £5.50 which seems a good bargain. Both are very good. Also available at lunch-time are other pasta and pizza dishes, panini etc.
On Friday and Saturday evenings it becomes a restaurant offering salads, pasta and pizza as well as a variety of starters. The premises aren't licensed, but you can bring your own wine (no corkage charge). There is an off-licence across the road.
All the food is freshly prepared to order by the chef/ proprietor and is both delicious and good value.
The serving staff are a bonus: currently one charming Russian-speaking girl and and 2 lively Italian girls covering the opening hours.
It's small so you may want to book in the evening.
