OMG book your tickets right away. The palace is beautiful with so much history and so many amazing stories, some of which are brought to life by actors, in fact there is loads of interactive learning tools throughout the tour. Totally gorgeous experience in every way until you get something to eat.

My jacket potato with tuna and cheese was cold and inedible and to make matters worse I was tasting the awful fish product most the afternoon! I give my cats better tuna than that!!

Normally I would have returned it however with just two females working the counter and a queue out the door I decided it wasn’t my mountain to die on. There was a group of Canadians actually laughing at their food.

Visit the palace however take a picnic.

Lovely place to visit. The gardens are nice with swans wandering about. Spent about 3 hours seeing everything. Has a few gifts shops which has nice bits but are a bit expensive. We went into the cafe but wasn't allowed a take away cup as only staff are allowed them so had to sit in. Some of the food and drinks were a bit pricey so probably worth bringing own lunch! Parking was about 6 pounds for 3-4 hours.

Tickets prices are slightly cheaper if purchased online. If not, it is GBP22.70 at the gate. Also, there used to be a combined ticket that you can get with train tickets from Waterloo. But it has been discontinued, so definitely purchase online if you can and have fun visiting!

Hampton Court Palace is a wonderful place that must not be missed. Arrange to get there when they open at 10am; you will need plenty of time to enjoy a brilliant day.
The place is famous as a Tudor palace with its association with Henry VIII, but was actually added to over the centuries, with a wonderful Baroque wing and lovely grounds.
When you but your ticket, get an audio guide and an information book to make the most of your visit.
Enjoy a brilliant day out.

Went to the palace yesterday for a family day out. Was a little bit expensive to get in, but you won’t be going there every week. So a nice treat.
Amazing place. The palace itself is amazing, the size of it is tremendous. And when you go outside into the gardens, well they’re something else. Stunning.
Recommend it to anyone.
We enjoyed it and so did our 8yr old.

Great day out, allow minimum 3hours to see around the Palace, more if you want to explore the gardens and maze. To get a feel how Henry VIII lived their, the cellar, the kitchen and courtyard. The great hall was amazing, especially with people dressed in period costume, acting in character. Brilliant day out. Would definitely recommend becoming members so can see other royal places, great value.

Obviously the famed maze is worth a visit, but the house and grounds are excellent. But the Year Pass as great value and gives you access to four other Palaces

I have always found the history of the British monarch fascinating. One of my favorites is Henry VIII, so this was the palace I really wanted to visit. To go back in history and visit the grounds and palace which I had read so much about. To see the room where Cardinal Wolsey did all his planning and to visit the great hall, imagining what it must have been like when Henry VIII lived there. What a feeling.

We purchased combined tickets together with the flower show in July. We did intend to do both attractions on the same day but due to the hot weather and size of the flower show we held over the Hampton Court visit as the tickets were valid until December. We found the Palace most interesting and educational and would recommend a visit and would also recommend you consider purchasing the combined flower show and Palace ticket as this is really good value.

This is a majestic place full of splendor. To know him is to know an important part of British history, not knowing him is to lose enough of it. The actors that represents the normal life of Henry VIII do a great performance, outstanding in all sense.
