We went on a Monday night when they have an opera singer who was great. Ask for a balcony table if they have it in the really quirky back part of the restaurant. The food was good value and we enjoyed our evening very much, I can't believe I didn't know about this place before! Live music is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays

I probably go here around 10 times a year. The value is amazing. The choice it great. Definately worth a visit, even if it's just once. It does get very hot as the A/C is non existent. So have a skimpy outfit on. You must try the balcony as you will feel like a princess. Great place

I went here a few years ago and I was even more impressed this time and hope it won't be as long before I go again. We went for a colleagues leaving do and the food was delicious and excellent value for money. The opera singer was fab, very entertaining!! Do not be put off if you don't like Opera as he is great fun and a big hit with the ladies!! he will sing requests and make them personal for the diners :-)
Service was efficient, atmosphere is lively and it's colourful and cosy.
We all loved it and will go back again.

Have visited little Bay Croydon several times over the past few year, each time we've all enjoyed our experience immensely. The waiters are all friendly, the food delicious and I love sitting in the booths when the Opera is on.

Hint: Groups of single ladies will attract the attention of one of the better looking opera male singers.

Previously have ordered from the Christmas menu and a la carte. Can recommend the pork belly, calamari, slow cooked lamb and the duck.
For desert, without doubt one of the best chocolate brownies ever, although I am partial to the white chocolate and pistachio parfait or poached pears with panna cotta.

Personally I would reccomend visiting on a Monday or Wed night with the opera is on, go with a group of friends and sit in one of the high seating booths as you are still able to experience the fun surrounding, music and generally nice atmosphere.

Little Bay is a place to go - as you can see from other people's pictures it's spectacular and done out like a Victorian theatre which is fun and the kids loved it. Older relatives struggled a bit with the steep stairs to the 'boxes' where you eat (ordinary tables are available at the front of the restaurant).

If it has a problem then it's the food. Nothing wrong with it and it's reasonably, but the steak I ordered was pretty unremarkable - particularly considering the sumptuous surroundings. A great and inoffensive place for a large family gathering where people have distinct preferences (one of our party won't eat anything she considers 'exotic', for example, and the kids around had the usual 'I'm not eating such-and-such' attitude) but if you like something a bit special on your plate this probably isn't the place.

If it has anything compensating for that 'problem' (which is more to do with my own preference than what the place sets out to achieve) then it's the staff, whose hard work and attitude is just about perfect.
