Visited Bella Italia Saturday evening and on arrival found they had not got our table for 6 available. We had personally visited this restaurant 6 weeks before to ensure our booking was registered correctly for 7.00 p.m. and also 'phoned a couple of days before to check the time, but when we arrived they said they had it in for 6.00 p.m. and could not give us a table!!! We were naturally annoyed at this especially as it was a celebration and more annoyed at the attitude at the person who gave us no apology whatsoever. However, in the end she managed to find us a table and we found out from our waitress, who was lovely, that our booking had indeed been initially registered for 7.00 p.m. but when it was transferred over someone had mistakenly put it in as 6.00 p.m. so entirely their fault! We spent over £200 on a very ordinary meal and were not even offered a complimentary drink to compensate for their mistake. Due to this appalling customer service we will definitely not be returning to this restaurant.
