Premier Inn Camberley Hotel

This was my first stay at a Premier Inn and I was very pleasantly surprised - excellent location, spacious clean rooms, well equipped and quite homely, good service, lovely breakfast (although they ran out of orange juice - that's another first!), very comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. In short, far better than I had experienced at any Travelodge, IBIS or similar establishment and excellent value for money. Parking was really easy at the nearby Atrium which was a close walk and cost all of £6 for secure overnight parking.

Good location, and as above.
Good night sleep had.
Bargain price too!
Didn't try restaurant as so many in town centre
Just a shame no car park, there are car parks nearby that do a evening rate from 6pm, don't get stung like us and arrive at 5.55 and get charged an hour!

We stayed here for a few nights in July as we were visiting family who live in Camberly. It is cheap and rooms are big and comfy like all Premier inn's. Breakfast was brilliant as you could have anything from cereal to a full english. Plus the kids ate for free. The hotel was right near all the shops and restraunts like Primark, Pizza Express and Zizzi's. The only problem was parking as you had to park in the Atrium car park and it costed which made our holiday more expensive. Also when you go into the hotel you aren't in the main reception straight away and the lifts weren't working so we had to drag our bags up the stairs. We probaly will vsit again as everything else was brilliant!

On arrival we had to park outside the hotel, I went in to find out where
to park. The receptionist was very helpful and offered to help bring
in our luggage ,which she did with my wife whilst I went to park the car in the Atrium
car park. This is at the rear of the hotel. This was not a great experience as the centre
was very busy and parking difficult . Eventually I parked and had to walk
back to the hotel, lucky for me it had stopped raining.By the time I had walked
back my wife had booked in and we went to our room. We were pleased that our room
was at the end of a corridor away from a large party of young people there to celebrate
a locals birthday. The room was as always clean and welcoming . As we hadnt eaten we
went to the restaurant where the staff were brilliant when we explained we were short on
time. They said that was not a problem and we had a tasty meal and had time to spare..
We returned at 1.30 am from a fun New Years Eve party and had a very comfortable nights sleep.
In the morning we went to breakfast ,staff were attentive and explained where everthing was
and if we wanted anything different they would cook it for us. We had a very enjoyable breakfast and the staff were 5* with everything they did. On leaving we were asked if we had
been satisfied with our stay . I did say we did not hear the young people she said that they had been made aware that there were other people in the hotel so keep the noise down.
All we can say is well done Premier Inn and thank you for a happy relaxing stay.

Stayed at the Premier Inn, Camberley over Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. The hotel is lovely (new) and the gentleman at the reception couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The major downside of this hotel is their lack of parking. Yes, you can park at The Atrium complex car park but it's not as close as they make it seem. The Atrium was closed on Christmas day after we were told it would be open and as a result we walked about 1/4mi one way in the rain (no umbrella) to find the doors locked and then had to walk a good 1/2mi in the other direction to find an entrance to the car park to get out car. By then we were soaked and had a family do to go to.
On Boxing day morning we decided to give their all you can eat large breakfast a go because it looked good on the menu. A bit pricey at £8.95 but you could get your eggs cooked to order. Food under the lamps was dried out and not as hot as it should have been and they would bring our eggs to the table. We waited for a good 15-20 mins until they brought my eggs out and my husband never got his and by then my other food was stone cold.
But, if you're just looking for a good hotel and are not fussed about food or parking this is the place.

Needed somewhere to stay for a family funeral. This was clean, modern, well equipped, in the right place and at the right place - what more could you ask! Receptionist was friendly and really helpful. We were eating with family and also needed to start early so we didn't eat in the hotel but the receptionist was very helpful in directing us to where we needed to be. Room was spotless, and everything worked, and it was cheaper than the Travelodge.

Room Tip: The nearest the Atrium was quiet

Usual Premier Inn quality and service - you know what you're going to get. What I was not expecting was the parking ticket at 9am on a Sunday morning when I had left my car for a short time whilst I went back to our room to get my family and luggage. All the roads around the hotel have double yellow lines, so there is no option if you need to park outside to load/unload.
As reception is on the 1st floor, the staff cannot keep any eye on your car for you. I know that this is not the hotel's fault, but if the local council is going to give planning permission to an hotel (from which they no doubt earn a tidy sum in business rates) then surely they could agree some form of temporary concession for guests to get in and out ?
Won't be going back here !!
