“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013 via mobile

Friendly, helpful and obliging staff.
Worth booking at busy times ie weekends, Mother's Day, etc.
Excellent, fresh food. Perfection.
Drinks expensive although jugs of water are willingly given upon request.
Toilets inc separate disabled one clean and regularly checked.
Overall, expensive but an experience.

“Lovely afternoon tea”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

Visited in April for a lovely afternoon tea with a good range of teas. Generous portions with refills, and the option to take any uneaten cakes or sandwiches away. The tea ends with what I see as the 'correct' finish to any afternoon tea - a cakes trolley comes round so that you can choose a slice of a large cake such as Victoria sandwich, chocolate cake or lemon drizzle cake. I was impressed with Pennyhill Park generally and will return to stay in the hotel. A real treat.

“Very Nice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

Great Food, Good Value, Lovely Hotel. Only issue is that it can be a bit clinical if its a quiet night as there is a lot of Marble and the noise travels. Well worth a visit though, the steaks are great and the buffet lunch is fantastic.

“A bit disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

Given that this restaurant is within a renowned 5 star hotel I was expecting to be blown away, but that was not the case. The brasserie is where hotel guests have their breakfast and the decor seems to betray that other use, I almost expected to see cereals in the serving displays. The food was OK but nothing special. I had a T bone steak as a main course which I ordered with a peppercorn sauce, the sauce was delivered 10 minutes after the steak and was watery.

“Celebratory dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

We recently took 8 of friends to the brasserie at pennyhill to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very accommodating and professional with their service. We had a wait of over an hour between starter and main course but as there were so many if us it didn't really matter as we were enjoying the evening. Starters of note the duck egg and the lobster both amazing. Main courses the belly pork was sublime. It is expensive but for a special night it was definitely worth it. Visit was around £100 per head including drinks. Will return and next time stay over.
