Stayed for 3 nights over the New Year. Staff were friendly and helpful and always went the extra mile, (Jodie in particular.) The room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable with a selection of pillows of different firmness. It was amazing value - £122 for the 2 of us for 3 nights one of which was New Year's Eve! Highly recommended!!

Stayed here 1 night as a family of 4.
Having been to alton towers for the day we chose to stay here ( 15 mins drive away)
Pleasant friendly check in
Clean and very comfy room
Had breakfast the next day (£8.25) per adult kids eat free.
Whilst eating breakfast Father Christmas arrived and gave the kids a pressie, for free. Was a nice surprise and made the kids day.
Will recommend and will return to this hotel

Stopped over on way south. Reception was really friendly and the restaurant were keeping a table even though I'd thought we'd be late ( only 10 mins as it turned out). The food and bar were very good, staff knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff made us feel at home.

We stayed here on a Friday night before going to the races. Both advanced online booking & check-in were very efficient. Our room above the restaurant kitchen was clean and of a good size. No complaints. The heating worked fine, and we heard no noise from the corridor or outside (unless we opened the window). We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. The TableTable restaurant is friendly and the food is reasonable for the price, but don't expect a gourmet meal. Breakfast is very good value. This is a no frills hotel and for the price you could not expect more.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the carpark as the main road (A50) is noisy.

I stayed here as part of a birthday weekend at Alton Towers fireworks, the ease of booking was great and location was perfect. Room 309 was terrible it is right next to a noisy corridor where the fire door slams and wakes you up every 5 minutes and the automatic door below the room will have the same effect. Does not lead to a great nights sleep and also on this occasion the deposit left in the toilet on arrival, clearly uncleaned shower and suspect brown towel marks did not help my opinion of the stay.

When this hotel was booked by my partner for our trip to Alton Towers i was a bit concerned to read some of the reviews, however i was surprised that this hotel had been given such bad reviews, The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, check in was fast and we were given room 9 in the main building, this was a large room and to my relief the window was already open when we entered the room, although it was freezing outside, i have to sleep with a window open due to my asthma. The heating in the room was good too, you had total control over when it came on or not. The room was clean and looked freshly painted, first night i slept perfectly as i found firm pillows in the wardrobe, however on the next night the pillows had been moved around by housekeeping so didnt realise until i went to go to sleep that my partner had both firm pillows, so in the end i went out to reception, who advised me that she would check if there were any spare as the hotel was now full, lucky for me she located another pillow for me, then i slept ok for a few hours. Distance to Alton Towers, took 20 mins which was good, however that was without a queue up the hill. Breakfast - No comment as i will review that with the restuarant directly!

Room Tip: Rooms in the main building where reception is are good
