“Super family day”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

We have just arrived home from a lovely day and night at drayton manor/Thomas land and I felt I had to let others know how great it is.
We went with my 2 and a half year old son and a 5 and 2 yr old neice and nephew. The park looks brilliant with all the Christmas decor, the rides were excellent and hardly any wait for them. The staff were so friendly and the fat controller and his friends were very entertaining.

The only bad thing was the wait to see Father Christmas which was nearly an hour but he was well worth the wait and spent lots of time talking to the kids. The fireworks at the end of the day were also a really nice touch.

I could fault anything about the day. We stayed in the hotel in the Thomas themed room which was also excellent.

We booked online which was £15 per adult under 4s free. Fab value

We will definately be returning next year.

“Great time!!!”
Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

Our 4.5 year old son is a huge fan of Thomas and Friends, especially Percy. We visited specifically for Thomasland. We were there during Christmas time and that was a bonus as the park is decked out and they do a little snow show.

It rained while we were there but it wasn't much of a damper. We had a great time.

“An enjoyable day for the family”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

Good points - This park is great for a family day out with a lot of activities and a lot of food outlets. The rides are well maintained and the staff on the ground can be helpful. We went twice to the park as it close by to us and it was worth a visit, the kids really enjoyed it and it is reasonably self contained. We did get a great deal though using Tesco Points as it was quite expensive for us as a family of five and to take 2 of the childrens friends. The queuing time to get in is great as they see there is a large number of people and open more booths to get you in faster.

Points to note - (Food) prices are quite reasonable, but expensive at some of the outlets (we brought a picnic type meal and just bought coffee); However but in some seated areas there are signs saying you can only eat food bought from the park)

(Customer services) the one issue that we reported to the customer services regarding some staff issues was responded to quickly on the phone. However the process after the phone call took close to a year to resolve which was not very good. The customer services manager said he would meet us when we returned to the park to speak face to face and even gave his number for us to contact him on our arrival; however he never did even though he did say he would meet us before the end of the day.

Overall, the park is great for young people and older people alike, quite a bit of queuing, but you expect this at any park like this. The parking is great and there are some excellent staff on the ground. We would go again, but not for a few years now as this takes out the novelty :-)

“Excellent Day Out!”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

We visited this park in October with our 3 yr old son. Whilst he's not a huge Thomas fan he absolutely loved the park.

The park was fairly quiet which made for an even better day - hardly any queue's!

This park has something for everyone. We visited Paultons Park earlier in the year and can easily say Drayton Manor is a far better day out.
