Agree with previous reviewer. Old school curry which us a nice change and friendly service - they always give my kids a have full of chocolates even if we collect a takeaway.

'Old school' curry house untouched by trends, 'fusions' or modernisation. Just timeless good old fashioned silver service and fantastic food that is consistent every visit (over several years)representing great value for money. Friendly staff, good service but ultimately delicious food. Blatantly the best curry house around!

Jalalis International is a near perfect Indian Restaurant. The silver service staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the food is delicious - they do the best Vindaloo in Tamworth! and the décor - an old converted church - is delightful with its golden ceiling and central water fountain. It is particularly enchanting to go there for a meal at Christmastime I might add. Highly recommended!

We visit here fairly regularly (not as often as we'd like as its quite expensive). As long as we stick to balti, the food is gorgeous. When we've tried other things the standard has dropped. It's always a very friendly welcome and most of the waiters are also very friendly. The magic calculator seems to have disappeared now which is great (there was a £5 or £7 added to the bill before, so we stopped going after the third time it happened but decided to give them another chance).
