My two children had been on a trip here with school and they enjoyed it so much we went back as a family. It is a great castle to look around and enjoy, plenty to see.

“Not what I expected from reading other reviews”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

Visited this castle today, it's a nice building but most of the rooms were empty and took all of about 20 mins to look around ( I think some of it must have been closed as iv seen other reviewers saying spent 2 nd half hours looking round, you could have crawled round on your hands and knees in every part today 4 times in less than a hour ) maybe that's why price was reduced to £5.50 per adult but still wasn't worth that. I would check what's actually open before visiting.

“Great value for money!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

Stumbled across this attraction whilst trying to find something to do on our spare day. Had booked hotel for 3 nights with the main attraction being Drayton manor park and have to say this was a pleasant find!! Exhibits within the castle were interactive and young child friendly. Plenty to keep the whole family intrigued and entertained! And to top it off a great price to!! I like a good day out with the family even more when it doesn't break the bank!! ;)

After perusing the exhibits of this wonderful castle we rested with a lovely cup of coffee in the quaint cafe/gift shop again this was reasonably priced.

On the grounds outside is plenty to do again with a playground and outdoor gym. (Not that I went on that after my cream cake and coffee!) ;)

Would definitely recommend this to anyone who has an interest in history and young or older children. We have been to Warwick castle and would still rate this as great value.

“Grea for families”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

Excellent value for money - a really interesting small castle with lots of hands-on activities for younger visitors. My son got a lot more out of this visit than he has done at some other heritage attractions. Friendly staff, good interpretation and childrens activities all add to the experience. An HLF project in and around the castle is currently taking place - we'll be visiting again when it is completed!
