“Consistently good food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

Regular visitor to this restaurant for business and pleasure.

Recently re decorated, with new furniture, good lighting. A pleasant environment to enjoy well prepared food and good service. The comprehensive menu should cater for most tastes. Have explored the menu and always enjoyed a friendly welcome, high standard of food and excellent service. Never had cause for complaint.

Well worth a visit if you haven't tried it. Consistently good food, a warm welcome, great service in a comfortable, well managed, friendly environment.

My restaurant of choice in Stone, until I have cause to look elsewhere.

Recently tried the sister restaurant in Newcastle. Same menu, same quality environment, food and service. Will happily visit Newcastle again, but Stone more convenient for family visits and the parking is easier.

“Overated”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

I have friends who love this place, I feel I must be missing something, I have eaten here about 10 times over the past 5 years and have found it to OK at best. The service is often not quick or particularly friendly, the food is far from brilliant and the price in terms of value for money is not good at all.

“Fantastic Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

Pasta Di Piazza in Stone is a lovely Italian restaurant with one of the largest and varied menues ever seen on offer. Excellent vegetarian choices.....not just pasta. The spaghetti epomeo with it's subtle chilli spicing is delicious. good value lunch menu.......portions are huge! One criticism .....whilst boasting an extensive bar the waiter was unaware of how to mix a Negroni.

“Always a good one”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2012 via mobile

Yet again not really knowing what we fancy we went back to our favourite place. Again the food was excellent and again I had something different and it didn't disappoint. This time I had the Risotto Mediterraneo which had Monkfish and Prawns. It was fantastic. As Arnie says, we will be back.

“Would you pay to eat in a corridor?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2012

We booked a table for two and arrived 10 minutes before our due time.

The table that we were offered was directly in front of the open kitchen between the counter and another row of tables set against the wall. This is the main thoroughfare for staff and customers! The restaurant was very busy so it would have been similar to eating in the central reservation of the M6.

We asked for another table but were told it would be 15mins but they could not guarantee another table would become available if at all.

The waiter spoke to us in a very patronising way so we left and went to the Thai restaurant and had a wonderful meal in pleasant surroundings with staff that fell over themselves to help.
