Stayed recently on a business trip, I would guess this is quite popular with business folk going by the clientele.
The hotel in some places is looking a bit tired but despite this it is a very charming place to stay the breakfast and evening meals are great and all the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
The gym is very small but I did manage a 30 minute work out followed by a dip in the pool and a very nice sauna.
The room was comfortable but very cold on the one night, the tv was frustrating as it seems to have a mind of its own but otherwise very clean.
As a wedding photographer in a previous life I would think this is a create place for a reception and photographs, the gardens are lovely and the house part of the hotel has some great internal features, although the decor may not suit some people preferring a more modernist style.More
