Stayed with Jenny and Phil for a night at their very well appointed B&B.
Excellent room with great en suite and walk in wet room shower. Hot water of the very hot variety!
The common area in the upper barn has plentiful supply of tea/coffee and chocolate biscuits.

A perfectly cooked breakfast, with fabulous tasting eggs and bacon.

Very hospitable hosts, who I had the pleasure of dining with in the evening at a local pub.

Most enjoyable stay and extremely well priced, and i look forward to my next visit

Stayed here for a weekend in August, highly recommend this charming farmyard B & B.
Very comfortable huge bed and the rooms have great views over the countryside.
The owners are very friendly and make you feel right at home.
We had the help yourself continental breakfast but was told the full english was great.
Would stay here again.

We were a group of four and had two rooms in the small barn which were lovely. There were kitchen facilities should we have needed them. The beds were very comfortable and there was no noise at night. It was lovely seeing the animals and reminded us of holidays when the children were young when we stayed on farms. Would highly recommend it and can't wait to revisit. We had a good full English breakfast that we paid extra for but was well worth it.

Stayed here after day out in Alton towers. Very beautiful location, lovely rooms, good continental breakfast. Our room was right beside breakfast area so felt a bit lacking in privacy however that's the only small negative. Would reccommend. The Roebuck inn is a lovely bar just 1 min walk away. The Green Man served a lovely evening meal 5 min drive away.

Highfields was a lovely place to stay for my birthday night away as a special treat. We visited with our 2 year old son and were treated to the most wonderful hospitality, a warm reception on arrival telling us all about where we were to be staying and the amenities. We stayed in the Marigold room in the small barn which was comfortable, very clean with a wet room style shower and had enough room to fit a travel cot in. We had an evening meal cooked for us which was delicious (choice of 3 or 4 home-cooked dishes), personally delivered and served to the dining table in the small barn. The whole area around the b&b and views over beautiful buttercup fields provided a restful and peace filled spot. Our little boy loved visiting the farm pig Sophie, seeing the chickens and the 2 friendly dogs, breakfast was a filling farmhouse cooked affair with tasty sausages, bacon and toast and eggs fresh from the farm hens.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful, welcoming B&B. A little gem hidden in the heart of the potteries.

Room Tip: If you want to have your own little bolt hole and use of private kitchen facilities then opt for one of the rooms In the separate small barn.
