We visited on 30th August, it was very busy when we arrived.James got a drink and then went and ordered, as I am on a diet I asked if I could have the roast beef with a salad and jacket potato. Its not on the menu, but they were more than happy to oblige. The meals came and I had a generous amount of really tender tasty beef, a nice salad with the dressing separate, and Jacket. James had the hand battered cod and chips which was up to the usual high standard and very tasty :) ,we were checked on to see if everything was ok by the waitress Lucy, she was really friendly and efficient too, we have seen her in here a few times as we do eat at this wetherspoons at least once a week, she told us she leaves in a couple of weeks which is a shame as she is a lovley girl and always really helpful. We have eaten in other wetherspoons inc Lichfield and Burton but we both feel that the food and service in the one in Rugeley is far better, the staff are a credit to the manager
