Owner description: Here at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire, you're in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Our Tree Top Adventure takes Cannock Chase's breathtaking scenery, a smattering of tree-top high wires, crossings and wind-in-your-face zip wires. It's a proven recipe that never fails. Trust us, it's one of the best days out near Birmingham and the adventure does not need to stop there. You can get off the beaten track and enjoy our latest forest adventure with Go Ape Forest Segway - an epic experience with a down to earth twist. Cannock Chase is also home to our Tree Top Junior Adventure for Mini Tarzans. Release your little monkeys onto a Go Ape course designed for them. No one loves adventure more than kids!

We did the Treetop Adventure with my 13 and 12-year old. We were lucky to have good weather on that day, but would be equally enjoyable if the weather wasn’t so good. The Cannock Go-ape is easily assessable and there is a massive car park where you can park all day for only £3. It is certainly advisable to pre-book the activity online as it is very popular, each group timeslot had approx. 15 people in it. The instructors, (especially Abbs) were very patient and made sure that everyone was comfortable and knew the safety rules before letting us proceed with the course. The sections of the course gradually get higher and each section, the highest one being about 15 metres,is finished by a decent on a Zip wire (why oh why did I ways land backwards !) You work your way through the course on your own but there is staff situated everywhere to give you help if you encounter problems..

We finished the course in about 2.5 hours and I believe that is represents good value for Money, we will definitely be back !

My daughter was desperate to do this! but had to have an adult with her as she was under 16. I must admit to being rather terrified to say the least.

The instructor was very professional, gave clear and concise safety training as was with us (on the ground) throughout the whole experience. She was very encouraging.

My other daughter and husband did the Segway experience and they equally enjoyed their adventure.

Had a great afternoon at goape in Cannock chase, exciting, heart pumpingly adrenaline rushing fun high up in the trees. Tuition is provided and safety is briefed out first then your left alone to go up and complete the 2 to 3 hrs of on obstacles and zip wires. Good fun for all the family and all ages.

We recently visited the beautiful sites of Cannock chase to take part in a "birthday treat" for me and 5 of my friends! The location was superb and the Segway racing was just truly fantastic! The instructor was extremely friendly, encouraging, and conscious of everyone's comfort and the importance of great fun and safety! My friends and I had an hour experience which " flew by"! The technique of Segway is to maintain a good stance and you lean your weight gentlyforward ( not tipping) to go forward, and shift your stance/ weight left or right to turn in these directions, it's not overly complicated but I think there is a minimum weight requirement of 45kg( which makes sense for you to have enough weight to move and slow the Segway! )Sounds awkward but it really quite simple and after 5 minutes under the instruction and supervision of the tutor your rather competent in no time, your first restricted to 6mph on the Segway whilst finding your balance but soon you are vastly wanting to increase your speed off the initial restriction to 12.5 mph! It's safe, fun and worth the cost, so much so were going again in September! Thankyou all at Cannock chase- wel be up for go ape tree climb next!!

what great fun, scary but fun, lots of different activities but must say i think the zip wires at the end of each course was the best, tired and achy at the end but well worth it, friendly and helpful staff.
