I enjoyed every moment of the evening from start to finish. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food and we all had a laugh and a joke - its that sort of place where you feel at home but don't have to do the washing up afterwards!

Thank lucy b

Went here on a Saturday evening with family. We all enjoyed the food, not cheap, but worth it. Excellent food for a local pub.

This Pub has the most fantastic food. We visited expecting the usual Pub Grub , this was way beyond the usual. Very welcoming great atmosphere, and a brilliant menu at reasonable prices. I did not expect the quality of both food and service we received, , Ye Olde Dun Cow is an exceptional place to eat.

We went here yesterday 10th March for Mothers Day lunch. We all had the three course special. The food was excellent, waitresses very attentive and the host was very welcoming. All were eager to please. It was a nice atmosphere and although for Mothers Day, there were two sittings. we were not rushed in any way. Had a lovely time, and will definately return.

Pub food at its best. No pretensions but full sized portions of perfectly cooked food. Plenty of room between tables and no attempt to rush you ready for another sitting. No mass catering or bought in ready meals. Good friendly service and an old fashioned host on hand to greet and farewell. Four of us had starters, mains and three sweets with pre meal drinks, 4 glasses wine and a couple of pints followed by coffee for £120 - which I regard as cheap. Mains came with salads, veg and sauteed potatos/chips included in the price. Pity about the slate plates at one point but you can't have everything. Highly recommended and I will certainly return.
