Small area for number of visitors along a narrow road of the main road to buxton. Best if you walk uphill/climb

It is such a beautifyl scene and we will diffinitely come back again. You need get to the top of Roaches to enjoy it. It does not take long to do it, only about 20 minutes. The rocks are beautiful

Beautiful scenery in a unique part of the UK. You need to get out of your car and onto your feet to see this part of the Peak District to best advantage. Lots of footpaths, but not really suitable for the disabled as the paths can be rough. Parking close by can be difficult but there are some disabled spaces if you can cope with the paths. Some nearby tea rooms to refresh yourselves after a walk. A lovely place that can be a bit crowded at weekends.

This a gorgeous area in the peak district, I have been to the roaches many times over the years and it never fails to impress. The views and stunning and there are so many walks here plus you can see the winking man. It is so peaceful up here it's like being in another world. I love this place.
