An excellent volunteer team provided excellent food and drinks, including alcohol in the warm and comfortable cafe. There is a family room also attached to the cafe. Seating is mixed from intimate tables, family table, sofas, rocking chairs....great pace to read on a visit to Leek , lots of cheap parking close by.

Dogs on leads appear to be accepted in part of cafe area I have seen

Family room very useful for small active children.

Noticed a Loyalty card for free coffee.

Cakes to die for, good sized quality coffees and cafe meals of quality. prices cakes £1.80 + coffee £1.60+ meals circa £3.60+. All outstanding value...lots of care taken by team....offered to microwave cake and

Staff tipping bowl appeared full.......also donation boxes a good way to reward this team of excellent volunteers.....think it was a Fairtrade cafe.....coffee menu extensive .

Access by low steps up front of building but not too problematic.

Constant series of exhibitions advertised when I have visited, free access .

Been to a couple of musical performances which were superbly presented with excellent shaped room, good stage with superb sound engineering and computer projection support . One of the most satisfying performance venues I have been to for a long time. excellent choice of artists .

Beer, wine, soft drinks ..including real ale (Titanic?) available at bar.

Toilets were good facilities ( gents) and well cleaned and notice said they were going to be upgraded when funds available..

Outdoor garden patio and large walled garden... but snow ruled out checking it....but will come into its NW in summer.

This arts centre is a great place to visit. It has a good cafe, serving delicious food, coffee, etc (fairly traded where possible) and reasonably priced. There is a rolling programme of excellent exhibitions in the art gallery, very interesting local history exhibition, many varying events going on - films, music, drama, workshops, poetry etc. We visit this venue regularly and encourage you to do so if you are in the area!

Really enjoyed a good chat today in a sunny spot by the window. Perfect mug of tea and filled jacket potatoes with a crunchy fresh salad.

I love the way the building is used for a variety of things and is available for anyone to use. There is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere here. What a shame that it has been up to volunteers to set it up. Shame on you Leek Council !
