One of the best cottages ( The Barn) we have stayed in. Photos on website don't do it justice. Secluded location ( just owners house and 1 other holiday cottage). Ideal location for attractions and walking. Cottage furnished to a high standard and very well equipped. Spotlessly clean!

We had a fabulous week at Ringehay Farm staying in The Dairy which is one half of a converted barn and has 2 beautiful ensuite bedrooms plus a pretty, cottagey style kitchen diner and a large comfy lounge. Outside is a lovely garden area with patio, and the views are stunning. The owners provide a welcome pack including a fresh baked loaf, butter, eggs, milk, bacon & fruit juice which is a nice touch. The thing that set this cottage apart for me from others we've stayed in was the attention to detail and helpfulness from the owners - we have a 2 year old daughter, and upon arrival found the owners had supplied lots of indoor and outdoor toys suitable for her, which she loved. They also supply stair gates, bed guards, potty etc so in short it's perfect for families and makes travel much easier as you don't have to pack up your entire house and take it on holiday with you. Great location near to loads of sights and attractions, lovely cottage, helpful owners who live in the farmhouse opposite - would highly recommend.

Stayed in the Barn which was immaculate thoughout. Kindly received & unpacked our Tesco shopping before we arrived. Also provided their own welcome pack for us which included Easter eggs for the chidren.
Enjoyed catching carp in the fishing pools, feeding the chickens & enjoying the amazing view. Our youngest loved playing with the owners' children.
Very understanding when some accidental damage was caused by us which could have been very costly.
Would love to return.

I cannot fault the dairy cottage in anyway.

My family and I stayed at the dairy cottage in Leek for a midweek break in March 2011, from the start everything was perfect.

I have 2 young children and when I read the facilities for the kids (age relevant toys and games etc) I was expecting a couple of books etc, however the selection was amazing from the xbox with 20ish games and the vast amount of games and books.

The cottage itself was located perfectly for Alton towers (15 mins drive) and only 1hr at the most from Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and well kept and had every luxury you could want from fresh eggs from the hens to a kitchen stocked with every pot, pan or utensil you could ever want.

We will most definatley recommend these cottages and will definatley be returning

We went to Ringehay as the area was a good meeting point for friends travelling from either the south or north.Booking was really easy and once that was done, Nita kept in touch with direction and places of interest. We were in the Dairy and there were 6 of us and a dog and the cottage was perfect. We did not intend going out in the evenings so we took all we needed and it was perfect for us to veg out, eat and drink and have a good old catch up. The Cottage is beautiful and thoughfully furnished with everything you could possibly want. We had a great time on the Sunday playing with the games that were insitu in the cottage. the little touches include a book on british birds and binnoculars, lovely robes, towels toiletries and a great welcome pack. The location is stunning but we did venture out to Leek and Bakewell for some fresh air. Nita and Darryn are on hand if you need them but dont intrude in any way. There are chickens and dogs and its very rustic and real. We all had a thoroughly great time and cant wait to go back!!!

Many thanks for the lovely positive review. I'm pleased everyone enjoyed their stay in the lovely Peak District.
I'd just like to pick up on one little bit, it was The Barn (sleeps 6) you were staying in, not The Dairy (sleeps 4). Both offer the same 4star quality of accommodation, but The Barn sleeps more, we wouldn't be able to sleep 6 in The Dairy, just in case we are asked!
