“Lovely hotel and food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

Took my partner away to celebrate her birthday. We chose this hotel through 'Travelzoo' and found ourselves in a great hotel with stylish and modern bedrooms and bathrooms. Our room was well furnished and the bathroom was modern and smart. Everything was very clean and well looked after. We ate in the brasserie and had tasty well cooked food. Finished our stay with their full breakfast - locally produced sausages and bacon tasted delicious. The weather was against us - so we are looking at going back to do the walk we had planned.

We stayed on a Travelzoo deal and was pleasantly surprised by the accommodation, food and hospitality given. Nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely like to revisit. The choice of food at dinner was excellent.

We used the Travelzoo deal and found the Three Horseshoes just the right mix of comfort and style. Very relaxed atmosphere, the room was large and beautifully furnished and the bathroom was amazing! Staff are helpful and friendly

Picked up the TravelZoo Stay & Meal deal, and am glad I did.

On arrival we checked in and went to a clean, nicely decorated room, with a modern bathroom.
Once settled we went for the Afternoon Tea and Scones, nice friendly staff and lovely food. I stopped for a couple of pints from the good selection of cask ales whilst my wife went for a spa/massage treatment.

The highlight was the meal in the Brasserie, again pleasant staff, nice atmosphere, fantastic food, and an extensive drinks menu.

Breakfast was OK, full English in the Brasserie.
The only niggle was the bed was WAY too soft for my liking, but that wouldnt stop me coming back.
Even without the TravelZoo offer I think that I would have been content with quality and service.

Got a great deal at The Three Horseshoes Inn from Travelzoo - really enjoyed our break to celebrate an anniversary and would definately return there in future.

We arrived and checked into one of the executive rooms on the second floor which was spacious and well appointed with a wonderful jaquzzi bath in the bathroom. We then went and had afternoon tea which was in the bar and enjoyed the biggest homemade scones I have ever seen!!!! They were delicious and came with clotted cream, jam and a pot of tea!

We had pre-booked dinner in the Brasserie and it was absolutely fantastic - I cannot fault a single thing. The food, service, ambiance were all second to none and both my boyfriend had great meals. Breakfast was also in the Brasserie and it was again, lovely. There was a table set out with cereals, juices, fruit, croissants and breads for self service and then cooked breakfasts to order.

Thank you to all the staff, we had a very enjoyable break with you!

We stayed here on the Travelzoo deal so it was excellent value for money. However I would still write the same review. I'll review the hotel bit and the restaurant as two seperate entities.
The hotel element is lovely. The bathroom is outstanding with a lovely modern suite. The double monsoon shower is amazing. The biscuits and tea making facilities etc were really good.

The restaurant was lovely. fine dining and I really enjoyed the frilly food. We were amused by the couple sitting near us who appeared to have bumholes tighter than a ducks, since they asked for tap water and wouldn't even buy a drink! The staff were welcoming and attentive and we could see the kitchen from our table.

We are already married but if we had found this venue before I would have got married there it is so nice. At breakfast there was some nice wildlife in the garden and I saw a robin for the first time this year.

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting!
