Pleasant stay with warm and friendly colleagues at front of house, who were always there to help. The room was of adequate size and was very clean and tidy. Only issue, the hotel itself was quite far away from things to do, but overall lovely stay.

We found ourselves on a business trip to the area and after having had a good experiences in other Premier Inns thought why not?

Well the only good thing about it was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful.

The place itself was awful. My room overlooked a flat roof with an air conditioning unit.

Noise from the road was intrusive and just not what was expected.

I gather from the locals that we had picked the "wrong" Premier Inn in Burton.

Ah well, forewarned etc...

Stayed one night December 27th. Very friendly welcome, as usual with Premier Inns. Typical room, comfortable, warm and roomy, not the greatest of views over the back of the hotel but dark at 4.30. and we don't sit looking out of the window! The Table Table next door was very good, both for dinner and dinner, staff were friendly and attentive.

Having stayed in Premier Inns before we knew what to expect. Clean, basic rooms, fairly near the centre of town. The staff were helpful. The nearby restaurant was clearly patronised by locals for pre Christmas dinners. Good value as always .

We stayed here again as we were visiting family locally. As previously experienced, the staff were really friendly and welcoming and although room 28 was a little small, it was perfectly presented and had all the necessaries that you expect from Premier Inn. We asked for a quiet room and this was no trouble at all and in fact we heard very little noise from outside or around the hotel at all. The deal we got was fantastic and we will certainly look at staying here again when next in the area.

Room Tip: Room 28, although quiet, is rather small for a couple.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time recently, whilst visiting relatives in the area. Last time we stayed here, we had a room at the top, facing to the rear, over a nice garden and the countryside, you wouldn't have believed we were alongside a busy road
This time we were placed in room 3 which was right next to the reception, so no stairs to climb (no lift), however the room was uncomfortably hot. No thermostat on the wall to control it, we asked reception about it, they explained that the room was directly above a kitchen, however now that the kitchen was shutting down it would be cooler. It was not. They provided us with a fan to cool the room down, but we had to turn it off because of the noise it made. A very hot pipe ran along the bottom of the wall in the room. We tried opening the windows, but unfortunately we were close to the road and the very noisy traffic kept us awake. Eventually managed to get some sleep but next time I'll be asking for a room at the back
One good point, Santa was in the restaurant giving out presents to the kids the following morning, which ensured that our son behaved himself.
