“A pleasant surprise again and again!”
Reviewed May 25, 2013

Have eaten here twice in the last 6 weeks and had a very good experience both times. First time, it was a last minute choice based on the fact we didn't want to cook and my husband announced he could get 20% off food being a Coors employee. We went thinking it would be mass produced microwaved food and were really surprised to find freshly cooked huge portions that were delicious. The second time we went back solely because of the first visit. Again freshly cooked delicious food and with the discount came to £18 for two of us! Both times it's been pretty empty compared to other places in Burton, but perhaps the people of Burton have the same misconception as we did. We would definitely return, even without the discount.

“''Fantastic Birthday Dinner''”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

WOW..I organised a little family get together for my partners Birthday here bearing in mind i have never been before but i will certainly be returning. We had a surprise birthday cake for my partner and few table decorations which the staff were more than happy to put on the table and present the cake at the right time during the meal. The food was excellent, well presented and not over priced.Staff were very professional and polite so overall this place is a definite must return and well recommended.

“Hidden gem?”
Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

Having been the Bass Museum for many years and a popular venue, I am surprised and sorry to report that this is now not the case. Little known and little used is the pun and eatery bit. We have been for a few drinks there but not eaten there until last Friday and a pleasant surprise it was to.

Very attentive service but not overbearing and the food was cooked to order and fresh not many diners though and that needs to improve given the surroundings and quality of food. So, if you are looking for a relaxing night out try this particular place either for a drink or food or both
