“Very Good”

Well just back from Three Queens Hotel and cannot say enough about the fab food. We stayed two nights Friday and Saturday and both nights we had 3 Courses and different menus each night. We all said that the food is 5* and is up there with the best Hotels.

Admittedly the Hotel could do with a re-vamp, but nothing major really.

The staff are all under pressure due to changes which are taking place but they are so kind and friendly to everyone.

We think the Breakfast would be better if it was Buffet style, as we found the dining room full to capacity and staff running round like headless chickens this morning. Most good Hotels now do Buffet Breakfasts and it means the food is hot and fresh when you get it on your plate.

Thank you to you all, we had a fab time.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our hotel, it is only with customer feedback that we can improve our standards of service. I am happy to say that your comments have been passed on to our breakfast team & they are now periodically reviewing our service. Breakfast can be demanding and unlike the restaurant, guests do not have to book a table &so on occasion they do all seem to arrive at once. We are pleased that to hear that you enjoyed your stay & we hope to see you again in the future.

We stayed at the hotel ,17th August, had a great time the rooms were real comfy and clean, all the staff were real friendly and helpful always smiling even when they had to put up with a rude patron one night who wasn't happy with is food ,you can't please everybody there never was a problem for them always happy and do anything for you ,even though we were only on a KJB deal, the food was excellant every night 3 or 4 choices on each course bang went the diet.
It was a good area to stay plenty to see ,we would recommend to anyone .They deserve a medal ,we will definately be back.

We stayed at the Three Queens in July for my birthday on a KGB deal. On arrival we were shown to our room and had a wonderful surprise as it was the Honeymoon Suite. The room was very big with a four poster bed, leather settee, mantel piece and a jacuzzi bath. Tea & coffee facilities and gorgeous biscuits. The rooms were lovely and clean. The food was excellent with a good choice on the menu and we have never had such good breakfasts. They must have an excellent chef at the hotel. There is plenty of room to park the car. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble - staff were a credit to the hotel. We walked into Burton upon Trent, which is only a 5-10 min walk and there were lots of lovely shops. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to return soon.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were in for a real surprise. The down side.....the ONLY down side, the hotel could do with a little TLC but apart from that, it's fine. On the up side, the rooms are very comfortable and well set out. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always smiling, they are a true asset of the hotel. The food. Breakfast was a delight, plenty to choose from. The chef kept us on our toes and challenged us every night, making a choice from the menu was difficult only because there was a choice of three, sometimes four different dishes. The food is amazing!!!

Conclusion:- We would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Keep up the good work.

Room Tip: The rooms backing onto the car park are quieter.

Stayed here on a living social deal which was excellent value. The hotel is lovely and close to the high street where there are lots of pubs and restaurants. Had a meal in the restaurant in the hotel which was lovely and enjoyed drinks on the hotel bar. The best part of this hotel is the warm and friendly staff who go out of their way to make you stay as comfortable as possible.

We stayed here for 2 nights DBB, the staff are the best asset this hotel has, nothing seemed to much trouble. We were upgraded to The Queen Elizabeth Suite the room was large and well appointed with a massive bathroom and jacuzzi bath.
The restaurant has a warm ambiance and the food is excellent
We would defiantly like to return

Although the building needs a little tender, loving care, the hospitality and the food were great, would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone. Hopefully the new owners will give the building the attention it needs although it didn't hinder my stay in anyway.
