Spent an excellent weekend with HMS Arethusa reunion. Staff were very attentive, nothing was too much for them. The complimentary paper and tea in the morning was really appreciated a very nice luxury. Breakfast delicious especially the sausages! The salmon on Saturday was beautifully cooked very efficient service. If in the area would definitely stay again. The reception recommended Barton marina - very relaxing. Thank you

Stayed btwn 10th and 12th October as a coach driver for a group of Ex Merchant Seamen and their wives for 2 nights, do not let first impressions put you off. It is on the junction of a very busy intersection in Burton but when you get inside the welcome is very warm. We were offered complimentary newspapers and tea or coffee brought to the room in the morning. The evening meal was very good but the breakfast is the best it is made to your order and they do not stint on the food. All staff were very helpful without exception, what suprised me was there was a guy washing the customers cars in the carpark each morning.
What was also good (and this is no reflection on the hotel] there is a Micro Brewery pub on the opposite side of the road that just sold Real Ale they had 7 casks on and they were great.

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the lodge they are more up to date

As Hon President of the HMS ARETHUSA Association I offer warm thanks to all concerned at the Three Queens Hotel for a splendid weekend reunion.

From the moment of welcome, and escort to our comfortable room, my wife and I knew we were in for a treat. Every member of staff, without exception, was helpful, cheerful and efficient.

I was particularly impressed by the standard of cooking. The salmon on Saturday was perfect and the vegetables were especially well done - al dente, as the Italians say.

What a treat it all was, and what good value. Many thanks.

Four stars (I never award 100% to anybody - especially not myself!)

The Three Queens Hotel, Burton upon Trent - what a wonderful establishment. Excellent rooms, Excellent staff, Excellent food, in fact a Hotel well worth another quick return visit. They hosted our Naval Reunion over a three day weekend in true proffessional style. Going to Burton or the National Memorial Arboretum? this Hotel is an excellent base.

I have stayed in hotels around the country to attend a reunion weekend with my friends for 24 years. This is the FIRST TIME I have chosen to make any comment about the hotel.Without doubt the queens is by far the best of them all.First class staff and service great rooms and good food Julia [manager] was "onhand" and it is VERY important to say her staff, Nikki,Mary,Paul,Henry,[who looked after me directly]must be recomended for their very helpful attitude.I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Burton.
