The walks are lovely, from short and fairly easy (but sensible shoes are recommended) to longer and more challenging. The map that you are given on admission is very useful. During the walks you see carpets of bluebells in beautiful woodland. The woods are surrounded by countryside, all so lush. There is even a small lake/brook to walk around with bridges to cross. When you have had enough of walking there is a very brave lady who sits outside her house and takes your order for drinks and delicious home-made cakes. Depending on the weather these can be consumed either outside or in a huge marquee. You can also purchase cards, postcards and preserves. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
