It had been a while since we last visited the Old Vicarage, but the warm welcome on arrival was no surprise. First actions were to relax in the lounge area with a drink and the menu, after a while we were asked for our selections (excellent, unobtrusive service here). We were then taken into the dining room and our starters brought through, wow I forgot how good the food is here! Although the menu changes every Sunday, I have to mention my starter Oyster Mushrooms & Chorizo in a white wine sauce and main course Slow Roast Belly Pork these were outstanding.
This is a great place for a visit, where you can relax and experience great food and service, long may it continue.
