This has always been a little hidden gem in Burton on Trent. We went again and was disappointed. The restaurant was very quiet only one other table, the food which we have always found to be excellent was mediocre, the steak was so thin it was like a slice of beef, certainly not worth 17.95,
In fact I hate to say this but I had a far better steak on a two for one last week!.
Please do not let this little oasis become another empty building.
The service as always was great, friendly and welcoming.
We shall go again and hopefully this was a one off.

I recently got together with 17 female friends and family to have a meal to celebrate my upcoming nuptials. Leading up to the night Daniel was very helpful and explained menu choices and provided options for our Gluten free diner. The night was enjoyed by all, the food was excellent and the service was great. We would definately return.

Not knowing the area we reviewed Tripadvisor comments about local restaurants before making our choice. We were not disappointed; the menu had a good selection of dishes and the wines were extremely well priced. The food was well presented, tasty and of a good standard. The service was good and the staff friendly. We visited on a Friday night and there were only a handful of tables occupied; the locals are missing a treat.

Food quality was excellent, offered extra veg if we wanted, would go back, but in the evening with friends. They had no problem at all with children, but it wasn't busy so was quiet. Nice venue with friends so you could have a conversation easily.
