We pop here on our way home from work and time and time again the staff, service, and most importantly the food never fails us! Lovely surroundings, nothing seems too much trouble and the chef delivers fabulous food every time, the chateaubriand is delicious!

went to the dial for lunch after visiting twice before and having exceptional food and service. on this visit I was very disappointed. we were there for an occasion and as a treat. the starter was ok but we all had burgers for the main which we had seen on previous visits coming out of the kitchen and they looked amazing. but what a disappointment...they were tasteless and had greasy onion rings on them which we all left. we did tell the waiter when our plates were collected. the service was very good but the food was a let down. it was certainly not worth the £56 bill. I could have had a better tasting burger elsewhere for £5.

Have attended several times for lunch/dinner in last few weeks each time the food and service have been consistently excellent! V good wine and beer selection too! Undoubtedly above the majority of eateries in Burton!!

As soon as you walk throuigh the door in The Dial you are made to feel immediately welcome by the friendliness and warmth of the staff. The collection of different gins available was the secong thing to make me really happy! The menu states items that are gluten and dairy free (which is a very unusual and thoughtful touch) and offers the most varied and tempting menu. The food arrived fast, it was piping hot and mouthwateringly good - the tapas were inspired and exceptionally yummy...The mains were also excellent - I had a really REAL Ceasar salad, loads of anchovies, crispy bacon, golden garlic croutons and masses of moist chicken. Probably one of the best I have had in years. My husband went down the burger route - also very good, plenty to eat and very tasty. The Dial has two very happy customers and we will return often.
