“Friendly and nice”

Stayed at hotel for one night. Nice friendly warm welcome. Nice well sized rooms and very clean. Good breakfast and lots of choice. Would happily stay at the hotel again. The owner let me leave my car in the car park on day of check out due to the snow which was very nice of them.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting alton tower. Had a very warm welcome on our arrival. Stayed in the "MOD" room, kids loved the themed room. If you like the scooter scene this room is a must. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, just what we needed before a long day at alton towers. Can not fault our stay, big thank you all the staff at the Bank House for making our stay enjoyable.

Room Tip: "MOD" room if you are a MOD at heart.

Myself and my boyfriend had a weekend away to go to Alton Towers, the Hotel is very close which was nice, The couple who own it are lovely they were always very helpful as we had no idea where we were going. AMAZING breakfast! The rooms we very clean we had an amazing shower which was good to come back to. Overall we had a really nice stay an i would reccomend it to anyone. There is not much to do in the small town but there is a lovely pub resturant The Bulls Head which had lovely food, but if you are going for a lively weekend you will need to travel about 30mins to a livelier town, but good if you are going to Alton Towers as all you want after is a quiet night in :)

Room Tip: All the rooms are themed so would be hard to reccommend a room, but we stayed in the two tone room w...

Arriving at bank house me and my partner were both very tired after a long day of traveling and visiting pleasure beach in Blackpool. As soon as we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly and kind hearted manor by the two owners. We were then escorted to our room which was the Marilyn monroe themed room which was very clean, decorative and overwhelmingly cosy. Then we were shown to our whirlpool bath which was amazing and felt just like a jacuzzi, very relaxing after a long day! After being shown around we were then invited to the local pub which was very friendly with a excellent live band. The next morning after sleeping so well in the comfy four poster bed we had our breakfast, helping ourselves to toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit followed by a delicious full staffordshire breakfast with oatcakes! Which was served very efficiently by our kind waiter. Overall our stay was perfect, i would recommend highly to anyone visiting the area especially Alton Towers! Bank house has everything and more you need for a great stay!

We stayed for one night whilst enjoying two days at Alton Towers. Arrived after our first day at the park and was greeted to a friendly welcome advising us on where to eat. The local pub is very friendly, food very nice and huge portions! Upon returning to the B&B WOW the two tone room was a nice surprise and the huge bed was a dream! Room/Bathroom was spotless clean. Breakfast in the morning could not be faulted and was very yummy indeed!

Thanks for a lovely stay ... we shall deff be back and reccomend to others!!

After being stuck in terrible traffic (with my husband running late for a meeting) arriving at Bank House was like a breath of fresh air! The welcome was the warmest we have experienced and the Two Tone room was spotless and the bed HUGE! The shower has to be mentioned as powerfull is an understatement!
Breakfast was lovely (especially the oat cakes!) and having your own designated table (which was shown to us the night before) takes away the morning awkwardness of wandering around other guests trying to have a peaceful breakfast, aimlesly trying to find a table.
Fun, Friendly and Fantastic. Would def love to go back for a second stay and experience another wacky room! Thank you very much Bank House!
