Stayed here with a group of 7 people, one of whom has used the b&b again and again. Upon arrival Margaret greeted us and I had the family room on the front with double and single. There was only me in the room but it was lovely, with a great shower!

I had fish and chips, which was abit like a frozen fish, but tasted nice just the same. Great selection of drinks available at the bar, although a tad pricey. But they serve brothers which is a bonus :P

Can't fault breakfast, and is cooked to your preference.

Going back for Scarefest with my other half and our friends, spending one night here and the other night in a scare room at Alton Towers, and our friends are also staying too!

We were staying at the ALton Towers hotel but thought the food looked a little expensive for what it was. I ten minute (if that) drive down the road took us to the Peakstone Inn.

The food was of very high quality and excellent value for money. The service was very friendly and anybody with children must look inside the Piggery restaurant. There is a revolving pool table and a dart baord with doubles, trebles and quadruples.

Thoroughly recommended. Next time we may stay there.

We've stayed at the Peakstones Inn for the last four visits to Alton Towers. The welcome and service from Margret and her staff is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. As far as the cleanliness is concerned, we couldn't find any fault. The wife is a stickler for cleanliness, and although she looked, well more like inspected, she was more than satisfied. We found the food to be good value for the money. I had the braised pork with apple gravy and mash potato with black pudding. I was really disappointed it wasn't on the menu the next night, it was absolutely delicious! If you have any special dietary requirements, Margret will do her utmost to meet your needs, and usually does. The breakfast is a good hearty one, self service cereal, OJ, tea and coffee with waitress service for a cooked breakfast. The restaurant is adorned with soft toys of different sizes and caricatures. Kids of all ages love it, including us. It is ideally located for Alton Towers, which is a short drive away. It is also ideally located for exploring the Stoke area, including the potteries. We've only stayed in the chalets and found them to be more than adequate. They are clean and warm with plenty of parking space. They are a good size, sleeping four with their own bathroom. On talking to other guests, no one complained about the accommodation.
We can't wait to go back again.

Stayed at peakstones for three nights and have to say Margaret went out her way to make us welcome from arrival. We had one of the chalets which was clean and warm. on first day we had not long arrived when two young couples arrived next door " fellow scots" . From the start they were really loud and could be heard over the tv in our room, the language was terrible and our young son could hear everything. They were asked to keep it down but within 15min had started up again. When we went for dinner we mentioned it to Margaret and she said to leave it to her. By the time we had finished dinner she had come back to tell us the people had been moved to other accomodation. Thanks to her we had a quiet stay.
The food was all home cooked and very reasonable and the staff friendly. Plenty hot water in shower and bathroom and rooms attended to daily. The breakfast room was a winner with my 8 year old son with all the toys that had been won at Alton Towers . Margaret was really good with my son who is Autistic and made a real effort to make him welcome, We would stay there again in a minute.

The accommodation was reasonable but over priced. Terrible beer. Only drank out of bottles which were an extortionate price. The restaurant was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Hundreds of cuddly toys hung from every wall and the ceiling. It can't be hygienic eating whilst sat under these dust traps. It looked filthy. Saturday night is Karaoke night which to be honest isn't our thing. It's outdated. Staff a bit on the miserable side too. We won't be bothering again.
