Owner description: The Waterpark is a perfect family day out whatever the weather, with both indoor and outdoor pools and attractions offering gallons of excitement for kids of all ages. Bursting out of the middle of Splash Landings Hotel the Caribbean lagoon boasts hundreds of fantastic interactive water features, from lazy rivers, bubbly wubbly pools and crazy cannons, to the thrills and spills of our Master Blaster water rollercoaster! There are also facilities for our smaller guests, including the Little Leak - a shallow area with interactive play features, floats and slides for tiny tots. Plus children under 4 years old can access the Waterpark completely free! There is scrumptious food available, including great value sandwich meal deals and delicious smoothies and ice cream served on the pool side. If you fancy something a little more filling we also offer a pizza and pasta buffet menu in Flambo's Exotic Feast Restaurant, offering great views of the wacky Waterpark.

Great fun. Spent most of the time there on the master blaster screaming like a girl, and trying to soak unsuspecting kids on the Waterworks... definitely want to go back

Not much for older people if your big kids like myself, However the water park is excellent for kids and they will love it there.

This is like being on holiday, really warm. Very wet fun. The slides are brilliant. Shame there is such a long queue for the rings.

We booked for the 'Caribbean Weekend' last Friday and Saturday night. The only discernible Caribbean bit was the garland and cup of juice on reception. My wife suggested we should actually go home on the Saturday AM it was that bad. We got there on the Friday ,about 5pm. The check in was quick and straight forward. We went to the room, which was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. The bed wasn't even a full double. I kept bumping into things in the room due to the design. So we settled in and I'd booked a seat in the 'Secret Garden Restaurant' . When we arrived, there must have been 4 or 5 mains on the menu. We decided against it and went to the other restaurant in the Splash Landings hotel. It was a buffet, so I reasoned that it would suit our to teenagers as they can choose. It was as a poor buffet is, over cooked and a bit lacklustre. So we ate and were presented with an £80 bill as it was £20 per head. Our teens were over twelve, so they counted as adults (even thought they only had a plate of chips and prawns ,which they both threw up 20 minutes later).
We went to 'The Blacksmiths Arms' in Alton the next night. We had a gourmet level meal, freshly baked bread, (can recommend the Mediterranean Salad to begin) starters and drinks. All well fed and happy and still had change from £50
We paid for two nights, but only were allowed one set of tickets to the water-park. So we went in, it was seriously overcrowded. No thought was given to capacity. All the seating was taken. We had to wait for an hour to get on the main ride. We were out of there the next morning at 9am. The hotel was grubby and well overdue a facelift. The entertainment was strained and awkward. Staff in the bars struggled to mix a cocktail, even the ones they had recommended on their list.
I wish we had just stayed at home, it really was that bad.
